Very Disappointed!! Today I was at the Pensacola Fairgrounds and the way the staff handled a situation today was very unprofessional. As a bystander I was watching a situation brew up as a father was trying to figure out a way to be able to be there in supporting his son. His son who looked to be about 4 years old was about to hold a snake for the first time. I will say a good price for a cool experience, 5 Dollars for 2 reptiles. The staff was very rude to him and very impatient, they wouldn't let him go in just to watch his son handle the reptiles. Never once did anyone explain that he needed to pay to get in, he was just trying to stand along side his son for this somewhat scary experience. As a father I understand where this father was coming from, its kids all over America who are fatherless and you have a father trying to be a father and share memories with his son and it was stripped away from him. It was almost a sad display. This act led as a discrimination, I watched them allow a mother in with no payment and a few other parents. Eventually a different, kindhearted lady in the staff saw the sadness in the fathers face and let him in the gate to share this moment with his son. After the son was done the father went to walk the son out and the father was approached by the staff aggressively in front of his son, the staff and owner of the business started yelling at the father and belittling him trying to paint him as an Ignorant Character. All I saw though was a passionate and caring father who wanted to spend time with his son and wanted to make sure his sons first experience with reptiles wasn't a scary one.
