JM Roofing has been a great company to work with as they replaced my roof. Josh was easy to work with and Tina came through when I needed a quick question answered during the final inspection. They were communicative when I reached out and kept me alert of delays due to weather. And shout out to the team putting up the roof in a single day. It may have been a small roof but I’m sure the heat made it tough as any large job in cooler weather!Review from Lidia S

In December 2020, I signed a contract with JM Roofing for a shingle roof in Pensacola, FL. However, the work was delayed, and on February 4, 2021, they informed me that they needed to install a rolled roof instead. The problems started when the roof began leaking on February 10, 2021, but JM Roofing attributed it to weather conditions. Despite numerous emails and ongoing leaks, the roof finally passed inspection on March 15, 2021. In June 2021, new leaks appeared, and the owner promised repairs, but the delays continued. The company made some repairs in September 2021, but the leaks persisted. More repairs were done in March 2022, and even in 2023, the leaks continued. I contacted them multiple times, and though they promised repairs, they often failed to show up. To manage the situation, they had to tarp the roof. In July 2023, I sent them a certified letter, and the owner finally came to seal the roof. However, the durability of these repairs remains uncertain. This company has been problematic from the start. Delayed install date, then had to change shingle colors. Did not cover roof after stripped resulting to damage to my ceilings, which they only painted over. Their installation techs were consuming alcohol while on my roof and didn't bother to pick up the smashed glass Corona bottle that rolled off the roof and onto my patio. I had to clean that up because simply stepping outside my backdoor resulted in a shard of glass in my foot. They didn't tell me about the increased cost until the invoice was presented. Less than a year later, roof is leaking. They promised that Josh would come out on 6/26, but he didn't show, and there has been no response from the company since. This is unacceptable.

******** Seeing as how you've spoke with my staff several times and we have done our best to accommodate your very limited availability, I believe it's more than fair to say that your review is highly inaccurate. We have been in constant communication with you, and I have plenty of records to support that. Additionally, you have never brought up anything about alcohol being consumed on your job and I've yet to see any evidence of this. I have hundreds of in-progress photos and hundreds of nails were cleaned up off your property. You expect me or anyone else to believe that a broken beer bottle wasn't cleaned up when roof debris and nails were? That's extremely unlikely. I suggest you not slander and defame a company the way you are. We will respond legally if you continue to defame our reputation. Every single kne of your calls has been answered and there was a scheduling conflict for very limited availability that we ABSOLUTELY responded to immediately. We have been licensed in the State of Florida since 2005 and these are not accusations that should be taken lightly or made lightly. I think it would be prudent of you to reconsider posting this kind of inaccurate information on public forums. I've documented this slander and have turned it over to my counsel. You even spoke to my staff today (07/03/23) and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, (07/05/23). Again, a clear indication that we have been anything BUT "non-responsive".
