NOV 20TH 2020 WE WENT INTO CONTRACT FOR NEW ROOF INSTALLATION. IT WAS ALMOST A YEAR BEFORE THE WORK WAS FINISHED.. I KIND OF UNDERSTOOD BECAUSE OF THE COVID 12 SITUATION. THEN THE DAY THEY FINISHED THE ROOF, I GET HOME THERE ARE OLD AND NEW NAILS IN MY POOL INCLUDING A WHOLE ROLL OF ROOFING NAILS UNUSED.. (WHICH THEY SAID THEY WOULD COVER THE POOL WITH TARP WHILE THE WORK WAS IN PROGRESS BUT THEY DIDN'T). THEN IT TOOK COUPLE OF MONTHS OF EMPTYING THE POOL AND THEY SENT MULTIPLE PEOPLE TO GET THE RUST STAINS OFF (SINCE IT WAS A SALT WATER POOL). FINALLY IT WAS ALL DONE IN DECEMBER OF 2021 AND IN MAY 2022 LESS THAN A YEAR... THE ROOF STARTED LEAKING IN THE GARAGE.. CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES LEFT MESSAGES AND EMAILS FINALLY SOMEONE CAME OUT AND TOOK PICTURES AND SAID THEY CAN SEE WHERE THE LEAK IS AND WOULD FIX IT RIGHT A AWAY. JUNE 2022 CALLED AND LEFT MULTIPLE MESSAGES AND EMAILED THEM, JULY 2022 SAME THING LEFT MULTIPLE MESSAGES AND EMAILED AND STILL NO RESPONSE. I WENT BY THEIR OFFICE BUILDING THEY MOVED AND NOBODY KNOWS WHERE. ADDRESS NOT CHANGED ON WEBSITE. NOW ITS AUG 2022 ITS BEEN RAINING STEADY FOR ALMOST THREE WEEKS... NOW ONE OF THE BEDROOM CEILING IS STAINED AND LEAKING WATER. I EXHAUSTED ALL MY AVENUES TO REACH OUT TO THEM. I DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO REPAIR THE ROOF SO I HAD TO OPEN ANOTHER CLAIM WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BECAUSE THE ROOF SUPPOSED TO HAVE 15 YEAR WARRANTS (PARTS AND LABOR) REGARDLESS OF DAMAGE OR POOR INSTALLATION ( IN THIS CASE THE LATTER). EVEN THOUGH I LEFT A GOOD REVIEW LAST TIME WHEN THEY CAME OUT AND FIXED THE POOL.. I'M VERY DISSAPPOINTED IN THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.Business response

I had a new roof installed in early 2021 after hurricane Sally. A few months after it was installed I noticed a vibration and a rumbling noise when we would have winds above 10 or 15 mph. I called and told them of my issue and they sent someone out a few weeks later. They did some repair work and told me the ridge caps were not installed correctly but they sealed them up and believe that would take care of the issue, it did not. since that time there have been a few other people out trying to fix the problem, and again it did not. The last person that was out was a gentleman named Keith on 01/27/2022. He did about a 45 minute inspection on the new roof. When he was done he told me that they no longer use the company that installed my roof do to poor workmanship. He said there was some rotten wood that need to be replaced and should have been done at the time of the replacement. He also said they may have to have an engineer come out at take a look at the issue. He said it would be a couple of weeks before he could get someone out to take off the new shingles, replace the rotten wood, and install new shingles. After a few weeks I gave him a call to get an update and he said he was working on it. I spoke with him once or twice after that phone call to get and update and again he said he was working on it. I have not been able to get in touch with him for the past month. I have left several messages for him and have called there office and done the same. His cell # is XXX-XXX-XXXX. It's been about 4 months now that I have been trying to get this issue resolved.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2022/05/10) */ Right Now Roofing has been out to the customers home multiple times and has repaired the home in a manner that exceeds industry standards. The noise the customer hears when the wind blows a certain speed from a certain direction is the ridge vent that was correctly installed on the roof. We don't want to void the warranty by removing the ridge vent so we have not removed it. At this point we believe we have fulfilled all the terms of the contract and completed the necessary repairs including repairs we didn't contract to do. If the customer has any further concerns please contact our office and we will respond promptly. Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2022/05/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The vibration is due to the fact that the ridge vent were cut short because they did not have enough to put back to original length. However they covered up the opening on the peak is where the issue is and I never had the issue until the roof was replaced. Also there employee (Kevin) upon his last inspection said there was rotten wood that should have been replaced at the time the roof was done. He also stated that is why they do not use the subcontractor that installed my roof. I have no idea what repairs were done that they were not contracted for. All I want is the rotten wood replaced and to fix the ridge cap issue.
