I purchased a 2016 Mazda CX-5 on May 18th of 2022 with 112,755. On May 29, 2022, I took the vehicle to be maintenanced and ended up having to replace the brakes and rotors, oil changed, and have the fluids changed. On June 06, 2022, I took the vehicle to Mazda in FWB due to the engine overheating. After the inspection it needed brake fluid changed, transmission fluid changed, spark plugs, A/C evac, and recharge, and found t-stat to be stuck closed part way. I've had to replace the thermostat, water pump, and temp sensor, amongst other ridiculous things. I had to do an engine flush even though I was very meticulous with maintenance since I got it. Now I am having to replace the engine and I don't even know if the warranty company will approve the work. I am requesting that 9th Avenue Automotive make this right. I have service receipts from every visit I have had to make at the dealership and service shops and can provide if necessary.

I have attached the warranty and gap insurance coverage.

I am asking that 9th Avenue Auto pay for the replacement of the engine and all fees incurred at Mack's Repair Shop (who currently has my vehicle) and I am asking that they pay for a rental car since I am not able to go to work or go to my oncology appointments. This has really caused a lot of issues and could have been avoided if they had did an inspection of the vehicle before selling it.

Thank you so much for your time and attention to this matter.

I spoke with Mack's Auto Repair and they said after going back and forth with Superior Protection, they are not going to cover repairs. They said that the previous owner did not maintain the vehicle according to Mazda standards thus causing damage to the engine. Therefore, the repair will not be covered.
