            January of this year, I paid $5100. to have a front porch, walkway, and back patio with ramp installed. While they corrected the several errors made by the (unsupervised) installers...it is now 6 months later and I am finding weeds growing up between the pavers and some pavers beginning to shift. I called the the office at Carlos pavers several weeks ago and left a message for ****** (my salesperson) to call me...2 weeks later, with no return phone call, I called again. This time ****** was there, and while I waited for him to take the call, I was hung up on. I called back... this time ****** answered. I told him what was happening and he seemed surprised since the back patio was raised quite a bit from the ground. He assured me that Carlos would be by the next day to take a look... that was 10 days ago and I have heard nothing. It seems they were concerned...up until they got paid, and now, they just don't care. I had gotten several quotes before I made the decision to use Carlos pavers...they were definitely higher than the others. My decision was based on the reviews I read...and now beginning to question? Their website states a 1 year warranty... the job that was done for me, barely lasted 6 months.... nothing but problems from day one... I would really like some answers as to what went wrong and what they intend to do.

            I contacted a number of companies in an attempt to get this work accomplished, but Carlos Pavers were the only ones that didnt decline the job, saying that it was too small. Within a couple of days of my initial call ***********************, their estimator, stopped by to look at the job and work out a price. A day or so later I received their proposal but felt I needed to add a couple of items to it. The very next day ************** emailed me back saying that my needs would be attended to at no additional cost. That was on Friday and the following Monday their installer, I believe he spells his name *****, was on the job with all materials and equipment. During the entire evolution I found everyone that I talked with at Carlos Pavers to be polite, courteous and extremely helpful. The installer did an outstanding job, was very meticulous in his work, extremely accommodating, and very careful of adjacent structures and other objects in the yard. Our project included site prep, base material and concrete pavers. It also included labor, sand and setting materials, and the installation of new pavers to match existing to fill in the triangle (approximately 8.5 x 11) between the existing pavers and the walkway. All work was accomplished in less than a day including clean-up. My wife and I would have no problem in hiring Carlos Pavers for additional work if the need should arise.
