I should have dug deeper, I found someone in almost the same situation as us but this was after the fact. They provided us with pictures and videos of the property. This was basically where the fraud started. The video was well prepared, and provided more detail. The lease was detailed enough and showed pictures from about 3 months ago. On move in we went to the master, bathroom smelt, that's cause there was festering water in our tub with bugs in it. Went to kid rooms and went to their bathroom to find a dead gecko. Looked in all the rooms, patch job was not good. My son then went to close his door and the handle came off. Came downstairs, and found items had been left under the sink in the kitchen and bathroom. Went to the overgrown backyard to find trash, bits of the house, destroyed concrete flower things, shards of pottery and rocks in the grass, and a busted-up archway with sharp edges, and pieces of pots all over the place. Go to the garage...every paint known to man and a bunch of other items with shelves. Then daughter calls me upstairs to the bathroom to find a roach. Go to the kitchen...tape marks on the floor, mold in the fridge. Icing on the cake...a/c wasn't working as well and we aren't acclimatized. Told them they had to get someone here to clean...informed it would be unreasonable. Told them we would clean it for a credit since our stuff was getting delivered the next day. Got an answer for cleaning, they gave us an 80 dollar credit for everything, not really worth it. The icing on the cake, was in the downstairs bathroom, we found prescription medication that had not been removed. It's bureaucracy. We gave them a list of near 60 items that need to be addressed. They fixed about 5 things 10 days after move in. Now it's been 12 days since their last repairs. We are bordering illegal now with the tenant laws. Several of the windows are unable to safely be opened, the screens are bowed and busted, and the upstairs bathroom tub can't utilize hot water.

I have been renting at a home managed by 10 Stars for some years now and have never had an issue with them directly. Any time maintenance is needed, they are quick to schedule and have that issue taken care of as soon as possible. When our aging AC went out this past summer, not only did they get the problem diagnosed and replacement ordered quickly, they provided us with a portable air conditioning unit to make do until the permanent replacement was installed.Apart from maintenance, they are very hands off, which I prefer over a snoopy landlord. Inspections are done through an app (which takes all of 10 minutes to do) and payments can be made online (with autopay as an option).Review from Liza G.

Our family has been renting our apartment from 10 Stars for 6 years now and we are happy to recommend them. *******, ****** and the rest of the staff are always quick to respond to any request or maintenance issue. They have always been upfront and fair with us. We are happy to continue working with them and look forward to another year in the place we have made our home.Review from Ricky R

Someone I know is already renting a property with 10 Stars and has for a few years now. They recommend that I check to see what properties are available through their website since I was looking, and Im happy to say that I found a place just for me! The whole process has been great, I havent had any issues. I commend 10 Stars on the great level of communication that I have received through out the entire process. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with 10 Stars Property Management. From day one, the property was not move-in ready as promised. The house had a non-functional AC, which despite numerous requests, took them three months to address. This resulted not only in unbearable living conditions with indoor temperatures not dropping below 78 degrees but also led to exorbitant electric bills costing me hundreds of dollars. Additionally, they had the audacity to demand that I turn over a $169 rebate from the electric company after all the expenses I had incurred due to their negligence. The property itself was in a state of disrepair and poor condition upon moving in, complete with trash scattered all over the premises which we had to clean ourselves. Throughout our tenancy, the demands on our time were unreasonable; they expected us to act as their employees, taking pictures of appliances to help them get their documentation in order. Currently, they are attempting to charge us $1,900 for maintenance issues such as painting and yard cleanup—responsibilities that, under Florida law, are clearly the landlord's obligation, not the tenant's. This outrageous behavior has forced us to consider legal action against 10 Stars Property Management. I strongly advise against renting from 10 Stars Property Management. Their management practices are not only unprofessional but also exploitative, showing a blatant disregard for tenant rights and well-being. Their conduct is not just unprofessional; it’s outright predatory and shows a complete disregard for tenant rights and decent housing standards.Review from joseph K

This is a warning to anybody considering renting a property from this company! This company treats human beings with contempt, and less than animals. I, and 7 other people was renting cottages from 2 very nice landlords. I was never late making a payment for the 6 years I lived there. In 2021 during the ******* housing crisis, they decided to retire and sell the properties. We were all told that the new landlord 10 stars Property Management would honor our lease agreements with a stipulation of maybe raising the rent a bit. Since the cost of living was rapidly rising, I was prepared for this. Well THE *** that the property was turned over to 10 star, we all received envelopes on our doors to vacate the property immediately, and they demanded we pay the final months rent within 10 days! They even withheld my security deposit, which I NEVER received! The eviction gave us all 30 days (Florida State Law) to vacate the premises. Again this was during the housing crisis, where there was literally no place to rent at the time. Many of us (including me) became homeless. They demanded that I make the final payment through the slot in their office door which was locked! They don't even have the decency to talk to you in person. They treated us worse than animals, and are the worst people I have ever had to deal with. STAY AWAY!Review from Allana H
