on April 7th, 2022 My Mother hired *********************** Contractor DBA Immanuel Construction license number ********** ( please note on his emails he states his license is ******** To do remodel on her kitchen, floors and some other areas. The job was completed approx. May 9th, 2022. My Mother made multiple attempts to contact ***************** about her floors by leaving phone messages. On May 2nd she sent a text to him letting him know that the wood floors he installed and were paid to do so were warped and buckling. ***************** to date has no bothered to come see the floors. He made one offer and that was for My Mother to buy all new flooring and pay him AGAIN and he would have them installed. Our problem is that the floors are in this condition because the employee he hired to lay the floors and told us was experienced did not do the job correctly. The boxes had directions in them that all the flooring had to have a liner installed when being done on concrete. They did not follow these instructions and at no time asked that we purchase this. They are supposed to be experienced and Contractors are responsible for who they hire. My Mother is a SR ******* and this is a very dangerous situation for her with the floors being uneven. Also, she paid **************** a total of $33372 for the work he did. It should not be her responsibility to have to pay again due to sub par installation by his Employee. On behalf of my Mother I have requested him to replace this. He stated his insurance won't pay because My Mother bought the flooring. This does not seem accurate. Please note that he told my Mother to go pick out her flooring and purchase and he would install for an additional cost of which is included in the total she paid him. The original estimate was $25697. I tried to get this handled in a professional way with all opportunity given to him to make this right. Of which he has not done. We would like him to pay to replace the flooring and pay for labor.
