I purchased a 2009 Lexus *** from Meticulous Motors on the 28th of February of 2024. Upon signing the paperwork ****** which is an sales associate with the company stated that I had a 30 day warranty on the car. On March 6, 2024 my mother was rushed to the hospital in ***********, ******* which is 5 1/2 hours away. I drove the Lexus up there no problem after my mom was released on March 12,2024 me, my mom, and kids was in the middle of transporting her home about 31 mins from where she lived when the *** just shut off. No lights no nothing I got out and opened the hood and it was smoking badly and white stuff was on the hood a passing tow truck driver towed the vehicle. I called Meticulous Motors and told them what was going on and **** who is part owner with his dad told me that he did not have time to talk to me because he had a game to get to. So I called back on another day and talked to the owner Mr. **** and he blamed me saying I drove the *** while it was hot and that was not true. I had a mechanic come and look at it and he told me that the heads was blown, the radiator was sealed before sell, the water pump was bad, it was a hole in the A frame. I brought all concerns to **** and **** they offered to fix but at my expense. I wanted my down payment or partial and they said no. They have the vehicle relisted and selling it for ******, which is 3000 cheaper than the ****** that they was selling it to me. I just want some of my money back if not all and to make you guys aware of what's going on. After further investigation I came across more incidents like this. The car never gave any indication that it was overheating and Mr. **** advised me that I shouldn't have driven it that far. If this is a reliable good vehicle then if I was driving it 30 minutes to 12 hours away it shouldn't have put me down on the side of the road. I have tried to negotiate with them to no avail. They want me to get the vehicle and pay down the fees then he would consider something.Business response

In response to this complaint, we had this vehicle towed back to our shop & kept in contact to let her know that we can have the car repaired & contact her back as soon as it is ready for her to pickup.
The car insurance was cancelled by the customer on this vehicle 4/5/24 and after leaving her voice mails & reaching her husband to let her know that the car was ready for pickup & that no payment was due upon retrieval, we never heard from the customer again.
All cars are sold AS-IS & come with that as part of their bill of sale.
If the customer would like to call us, we will be sure to do our best to help her. All verbal communication cut off after the we last tried to call/text her on 4/29/24.

I am rejecting this response because:To Whom It May Concern:I Tremicolus *****, contact Meticulous Motor 3-12 to let them know what happen to the ***** at that time i spoke with **** the owners son and he inform me that he didn't have time to deal with that. I spoke with the owner and he said "he didn't know that i was driving the ***** that far.So,this lead me to believe that you knew the *** had issues. I did get a mechanic to look at the ***** and told me what was wrong the exact same thing they proclaim to fix. I ask for my money back because I didn't have that ***** two weeks or put me in another vehicle. I was told by Meticulous Motor that i would have to pay for the repairs before they would put me in another vehicle. If i couldn't get all my money back give me some of it and still nothing till a month or so later. They also put it back on the lot to sale for less than what they was trying to sell it to me for. Meticulous motor left me, my children, and ill mom stranded and didn't care. Also,they had the vehicle towed because i couldn't get it to them. Meticulous Motor never said anything about a payment. This vehicle was trying to be sold with blown head gasket, the radiator had been tampered with, water pump was bad, the rust had a hole underneath the vehicle and color black,etc... I just want all or some of my money bad! Why would i keep insurance on a vehicle i don't have?
