This company has been very unprofessional with updates and unresponsive to receive timelines. Our HOA had decided to go with this concrete company to lay down a foundation prior to us installing a picnic pavilion. We worked very hard meeting with Polk County Land & Development throughout 2021 to meet with planners and get everything approved by the County so that MF Concrete could start work. I have been in communication with Christina F. over a year to finally start this process. I informed her at the end of 2021 that the County has approved us to start work and she guaranteed that the entire concrete project would be completed by the end of the first quarter. The last email from her was on March 7, 2022 after I have been trying to follow up with updates stating that she will follow up with her General Contractor to find out the status. The first quarter of the year has gone and this office does not answer calls, return voicemails, nor do they respond to inquiries from their site as I placed an inquiry on the website to see if I can receive a call back. It is very disappointing because when the our board met with Mike F. initially over 1 years ago to get a quote and to show him or vision, we trusted and believed that his company would deliver and they have not!

After years of this project going through County approvals, it was determined that since MF Concrete Services is a concrete trade license only, that a General Contractor was required to apply for this type of permit. The GC we reached out to was unable to assist. Mike F. Sr., our former estimator, whom you (the customer) met with initially, suffered serious health complications as the result of COVID in mid-2021 and is no longer with our company. We became short-staffed in his absence, and I (Christina F.) did experience a brief period of time over the last few months in which I was not able to answer or respond to emails as quickly as usual. I (Christina) did take some time away from the office to restructure our company to better assist current and future customer needs. I thought we had communicated to you (the customer) prior to my stepping back that the GC we work in conjunction with was unable to assist with this project. MF Concrete Services strives for customer satisfaction and apologize again if this information was not properly relayed to you and/or caused any problems with the deadline of your project.
