      I have been constantly harassed at my home by this company. I have clearly displayed a no solicitation sign on my front door, but they disregard it and leave their advertisement papers on or in my front door. I have lived at my home for a little over a year, and this company will not leave me alone. They send me mail, they leave advertisement pamphlets attached to my door, and I've asked them to take me off their list. Yet, on 6/25/24 around 10:30 am EST, a representative wearing their logo on a t-shirt left another door handle pamphlet on my door. I want them to leave me alone.

      Hired Plant It Earth to treat our sod and landscaping the summer of 2022. We installed new sod in July 2022 in the front. We have lost all the sod in the front yard. We have had numerous conversations with varying levels of management. Supervisors and Managers have come to the house and said they were "embarrassed" by the condition of our sod and weeds in our driveway. They have credited our account several times. We continue to state we don't want free services we want them to do their job. Their website home page states they send two technicians to every job to ensure no stone is left unturned. This is false. I am a disabled woman and am home almost every time they are here to treat. There is only one technician who comes to service the yard. Their website home page also states regarding each treatment "That includes the big things, like checking the sprinkler system for proper coverage, reducing the thatch to clear the root system, and evaluating your trees and shrubs for disease, fungus, and pest infestations." Feedback from Supervisors and Managers is that we aren't watering enough. Each in person visit from the technician or other representatives has never included checking the sprinkler system. A false statement on their website. Website: "When were done with that days lawn care service, well give you a call to let you know we were there and to give you the details of everything we did." This is false. They call ahead to let us know they are coming the next day, so I ensure that I or my husband are home to watch them treat the yard. This is how we know there is only one technician and that he only treated the yard and didn't check any of the other points they say they check on their home page. A false statement "Our route supervisors will routinely monitor routes to ensure our customers satisfaction." We have been complaining for nearly a year and a half. If a rep saw the condition of our yard, why didn't they do something about it?

      We are sorry to hear about the frustration with the property. We have informed the customer several times of watering issues (see attachments) that have lead to the decline of the property in this one particular spot. The rest of the property is in better shape. In good faith we did not charge for 8 regular scheduled services, sent out 7 additional services, replaced several small plants, and installed numerous St, Augustine plugs in this particular area. The weeds in the beds are due to lack of ground cover/mulch, attached is an article from the ********************* explaining this. We do not believe that issuing more refunds will solve the matter but would offer to discontinue the service.

      I am rejecting this response because: Re: watering see our Rachio Water System usage and explanation of the system. PIE is incorrect. The rest of the yard is not in better shape. See pictures from 11/20/23, 4/29/24, and 6/9/24. The business replaced small plants and sod plugs when the Supervisor admitted the Technician spilled weed killer on them. It was because of their error. If the weeds in the bed had been treated why werent they dead and left with dirt since there was little mulch? The driveway is to be treated each visit with weed killer. The pictures and by the admission of a visiting Supervisor, the Technician had not been treating the driveway for weeds. Despite mulch level, if treated, the weeds should be dead and not green. We are asking for the company to provide the services they are selling us. Their website states each treatment "includes the big things, like checking the sprinkler system for proper coverage..."When was the sprinkler system checked since PIE is claiming the issue in the front is due to lack of water and also that it is a service they provide each treatment? See pictures there are dead sections in the back and both side yards. Theres a large section in the back of zero sod but green weeds.  Website: two technicians to every job to ensure no stone is left unturned. They have not been sending two technicians to our property. I am here and witness the treatment each month. Technician does not treat the landscape beds nor the driveway. He sits in his truck longer than it takes to treat the property.

      I am rejecting this response because: The replacements were as a result of the technician spilling weed killer on the grass and ornamental plants. This complaint is in regard to the front section of grass needing to be resodded due to poor service and not receiving the services Plant It Earth states they provide. The business states on their website Supervisors monitor routes to ensure customer satisfaction. A Supervisor has not monitored our yard to ensure satisfaction. Please refer to the three sets of pictures of our total yard in 2023 and 2024.

      The business states on their website two technicians are sent to every job to ensure no stone is left unturned. They only send one technician to treat our yard. Not two like they state. 

      We are willing to work with the business and deduct the amount we have been credited from Plant It Earth from the total sod bill. Please have the business provide the months they credited/did not charge for and the total sum so we can compare to our records.

      On 2/15/2024 I noticed on my credit card the company increased fees without notification, so I called to cancel pest control service. On 3/17/2024, I was charged $84 for pest control service. I called to advise on 3/18/2024 and was told the amount would be refunded due to the error and they would lower my other service of fertilization back to $55 per month. I checked the billing account online to find they did neither. I want my money refunded and ALL services terminated to include a letter emailed to me as proof they canceled BOTH service accounts and refunded my money BACK to my credit card or I will proceed with a formal credit card dispute.

      My credit card has been credited since the complaint.  Please note, this was the 2nd request to cancel services. I was forced to contact BBB because it wasn't canceled 1st time. And after I requested it the 2nd time, the online account STILL did not reflect changes and no proof was sent confirming the change. I wasn't going to wait for the 3rd. Hopefully,  it won't happen again next month.

      In January, we received an invoice for the monthly service but there was no sign left in the yard and no notes from the technician. I emailed and left a voicemail inquiring about the notes. We did not get a response until a 2nd email was sent 10 days after the 1st email. They said they didn't have any notes from the technician. At that time I requested that they ************** our property and informed them that we would not be paying the invoice because there was no proof that any service had been performed. In October, they started sending payment reminders for past services that we had already paid for. This turned into monthly voicemails and emails to prove that we had sent the monthly payments and their office cashed it. We even sent copies of the cashed payments from our bank as proof. Every time we talk to the office they try to say it's a different month we didn't pay for. We sent October's proof of payment so they're missing August. We send August but they're missing May. We stopped responding in February and they have now sent the "debt" to a collection agency. This will be disputed with the collection agency since all of the payments have already been provided to the office.

      12/15/23- I was just charged for service that was never rendered. I received notification of a charge on my credit card from PIE at 10:02 AM. I knew that shouldn't be correct. I was on my lanai from 7:30 to 10:30 and never saw anyone in my backyard during that time. I looked for their PIE sign in my front yard that I always find when they have been by and none were to be found. I called the office and the lady who answered proceeded to read me the service report and said they were out here. I told her they did not come by and perform any service at my property. She asked if I had shrubs in the back yard and I said I did. Between my security cameras not alerting me to a visitor on my premises and me on the lanai during this time period, it just didn't happen. Hmm. I have attached the service report and a picture from my lanai looking towards a portion of my backyard.

      Many neighbors had told us that we had the best looking lawn in the neighborhood. Then came March. About a week after P.I.E.'s service, our yard developed large patches of burned grass. We contacted the company and they sent out a representative to address our problem. Their solution was to replace burned areas with sod and plugs. Months passed and we finally had sod replaced in several areas, but not the total damaged lawn. We were told we'd get plugs, but unfortunately, they had none. After waiting a long time, we replaced the remaining damaged areas, OURSELVES, removing the bad grass, and adding top soil to fill in the "dead zones". After 3 months, our yard was 90% back to normal. However, on June 28th. we had another treatment on our property. One week later, our lawn again, was torched. We had no choice but to cancel service with P.I.E. because they are ruining our lawn. BUYER BEWARE!!!

      I was charged for a service that I did not receive on 3/30/23. I checked my security cameras and no Plant it Earth truck came to my property on 3/30/23. I called the next day before 5 pm and left a message on this businesses answering service. Monday 4/03/23 I called again. A woman answered and I explained no service was received but a payment was charged. I was transferred and spoke with a man who said they would send someone out. Today 4/04/23 no-one from the company showed up or called. I called again, requested cancellation of service and refund of March payment. ******* said someone would be out to my property. I informed ******* this was unsatisfactory and again requested the cancellation of my service and refund last months payment. ******* stated they will cancel effective April but when pressed on the refund he said he would see what he could do. I ended the call. After reading various complaints on this company I am choosing to take a proactive stance with this service. We've used this company for over 2 years and have noticed declining quality of service.

      I scheduled an initial consult for Plant It Earth to assess and treat my lawn. I pay 2 companies to monitor my house 24/7 (Ring and Brinks Security), so my house is being monitored 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. During the first visit; the lawn technicians were scheduled to come out and assess my lawn ,trees, and shrubs. They were also scheduled to add liquid fertilizer, and to treat the grass for fungus and insects. The cameras prompted me when the crew arrived at 11:46am, and they were gone before 12:00noon. The cameras show that they never even took the hose off of the truck to add liquid fertilizer to my lawn. I contacted the supervisor, and I sent clips from the camera recording. He promised to speak with the office manager and follow up, but he never did. I contacted her (the office manager) directly and she promised to look into the situation and call me back, but she never did. I called her back three weeks later and she didn't remember me. When I spoke to her; she transferred me to another manager and I explained the situation, and he told me that there is nothing that he could do. To date; no one has tried to resolve the issue about the outstanding bill for the service that I did not receive.

Service team came out again in Nov and made application. Called Plant it Earth office. They confirmed their records reflect my Sep cancellation but have indicated they will send billing for ********* to collections.

      I am rejecting this response because: The credit offered $69.00 for cancellation of *********** charged in error does not reflect the $71.00 actually charged for Oct. The credit should reflect the full amount charged.  In addition, my financial institution, **** of America NA, is forwarding directly to P.I.E.'s mailing address, photocopies of the front and back of endorsed check number ********, payable to P.I.E. in the amount of $67, which was charged to my account on Feb 10, 2022, which was in payment of my ****************.  P.I.E. received these funds but neglected to apply them to my account.  Once these two errors on the part of P.I.E. are corrected, and I receive confirmation of a $0.00 balance due, I will close this complaint as accepted.
