We contracted CLC Contracting LLC to remodel our home which included, floors, kitchen cabinets and counter tops, some other things in the kitchen and windows. Everything has been done but not the windows. ***** owner of CLC Contracting advise us that the windows were ordered and that we will not have our windows until December because they had to be special order due to the different sizes. We started to call ***** in the beginning of November just to get an update on the windows and if he new a ETA on when they will come in as of today 12/19 he has not return any of our calls, text or emails that we have sent him. We never had any issues with him calling us back at all. The total amount of the job was $41k. We paid him $30k up front and then when he finish working on our kitchen we gave him the remaining amount of $11k because he never gave us any bad vibes that he would not call us regarding the windows, but I guess we was wrong. I just need help to either get my money back for the windows or let us know if he is going to do the windows are ETA. We know that things are backed order all we ask is for a call or text back. At this time we have our hands crossed and don't know what our next step should be. So hopefully BBB can help with this matter.Business response

Business response taken verbally by BBB:
Unfortunately the company that manufactured the windows had delayed and we were unable to complete the job when the windows were received as we had accepted other jobs while waiting and were not sure when the windows would arrive. As we are currently finishing up those jobs we are unable to put the customer on the schedule at this time. We will reach out shortly once we have a clearer schedule to allow the customer a better date and time for installation of the windows.

I am rejecting this response because:**************** is stating that he was not able to complete the job when the windows were received due to he had accepted other jobs. What I would like to know does he have the windows or is he still waiting on them. And also why has he not contacted us to advise us that the windows were still delayed. We have always worked with **************** on schedule on when he was able to come and work in our home, he always kept us inform on any delays or any schedule changes that he had so for him not to call or text us was not very fair on his part. All we ask is for communication from him, we understand that they are delay on supplies and things happen, but I would like to have a date on when he will be able to install me windows, and when will he finish with them. This has been going on for awhile and he has not even given us a call about it very disappointed.
