We have been in our house 1 1/2 years. Bingham installed our septic system for the home builder. Bingham did not seal the alarm box conduit that goes to the septic tank. This caused the alarm box to get corroded due to the ***************** from the septic tank. Followed proper procedure & called the builders warranty ***** we were advised 1 yr warranty, hence repair was on us. At that point we decided not to call the installer (Bingham) due to their install only lasted 1.5 years. When our septic contractor showed us the lack of electrical putty in the conduit caused the alarm box to fail, it was too late to call Bingham due to us already paying a service charge visit. After the rework was completed I called Bingham and they refused to help due to we did not call them first. They claimed that they would never forget to seal the conduit. I offered pictures before the new box install and have the original box that clearly shows no putty was ever installed. They were not interested in seeing either of them.Business response

The customer did not call us first to allow us the opportunity to address the matter, only called after to insist we pay the fees he incurred. We try to go above and beyond for our customers if had he called us first, this matter could have been handled differently. This system was inspected and approved by the State of Florida Department of Health. We have helped many customers outside of warranty with any issues.Initial Complaint

I just moved into my newly built home less than two months ago and my septic has been down for 3 weeks now. This company is basically refusing to come fix it. They never answer the phone. They have returned my call twice out of i dont know how many times I called and both times they only called and asked me did I call them. i told them I called and my septic is broke. Both ties I was told they would call me back to schedule a service appointment but I was not called either time. Septic is still not working. this should be criminalBusiness response

Business response taken verbally by BBB:
Our tech went out there and confirmed that the lift station was not getting power. We are not electricians and advised the customer because this is a power issue it is not covered under our warranty and we have to charge a service fee.
