Registered me for a seminar an I appeared and paid for Lunch that they were suppose to pay for it and no one called to tell me it was changed to another place.After the manager called an I called no one would answer the phone. I t cost me $25. I would like my money back. They put no show by my name when I was never told the place was changedMedical Air Services Association of Florida, Inc. Response

I attended a presentation today and then looked for reviews on the internet. I asked to see a service agreement to read because I had heard from a MASA member that there were states they didn't operate in the presenter says "this is not true but you can look it up."(he didn't provide one)I cannot find the service contract anywhere.Medical Air Services Association of Florida, Inc. I am sorry for your experience. The presenter was correct that MASA does not have any states that are excluded from coverage. In fact, some policies cover you worldwide (with a few country exceptions due to government restrictions). I recently attended a seminar of theirs to get information regarding their product. From the very start of it, the presenter was embellishing facts that were completely untrue about monies taken from ******** to fund revenue from hospitals no longer having ambulance service.They went on to describe necessary documentation for coverage of medical expenses and that physicians have absolutely no part in the proving of a medical necessity, which is completely untrue. The presenter made a very chilling, unreliable, misleading, insinuation that you could be transported by an ambulance unwarranted, and that a physician couldnt help reverse the situation by documenting medical necessity and it take as long as possibly a year, which again is a total lie. I feel very strongly that they should be evaluated for the content of their material that they are presenting to vulnerable and uneducated consumers.Medical Air Services Association of Florida, Inc. received a "promo / marketing call' after listening about 'benefits' on an employer call March 2023. Called ****, the agency promoting & asked for a brochure & more data to learn & see more about ****. NEVER received anything which was to be mailed. They asked for a credit card # to confirm who I was & send the 'company ********************* NEVER received anything, but WAS charged which I refuted with bank ... NOW I'm receiving charges again!!!!!! Turned ALL over to bank, *********** and will file complaint with EMS National and whoever else oversees MASA.Review from ellen m

I was invited to a presentation by my neighbors for MASA, a servce they had signed up for and had some further questions. The lead speaker, ***************************, told a story of a terrible event in her life where she would have benefitted from MASA services. It was compelling and I trusted my neighbors judgement. I signed up for a single life time membership. As I was leaving the seminar I googled the company. There were several poor reviews, some being the difficulty getting out of the contract ( you have 30 days) some others also set a red flag for me. I am usually a big researcher so when I got home I denied ********* on my credit card ( my cc bank said it would go thru as fraud, this way it could be done immediately) My neighbors called saying ******* called THEM saying there was a problem with my credit card. Huge red flag for me, very unprofessional and I am sure on some level illegal to share that information without my consent. Then she called them the next day to discuss the negative reviews and asked them to share their conversation with me. And she would be calling me at 3pm. Again, extremely unprofessional. When she called I told her i had concerns and wanted to research the company further. Things quickly escalated (she told me that I didn't offer her " the common courtesy" of answering her call, PS I do not have my phone attached to me and she did not leave a voicemail) with her telling me how big this corporation is, how many members it has, her qualifications etc...I told her when I do my research if I felt comfortable i would get in touch. She proceeded to shout "do not call me I will not be your agent" if this is such a big responsible company and ******* is so highly qualified, why get so worked up over a single membership being canceled? I signed up for MASA and am still waiting to get some kind of information proving that I have the service. I am beginning to wonder if it was a scam. They are taking the payment out of my checking account.Review from Tobie W

I join this about 6 months or more and found out I was already a member to the one here and still had 4 month to renew . Got so much run around until I finally got someone and he started I had to write a letter which I did. They are still taking payments out. Based on the reviews I read. It appears to be a reputable company. I signed up about a month ago for $29.00. I got my first **** of $29.00 recently. I was getting a little concerned because they were supposed to have sent me some information via email. And a membership package via regular mail. I called today, June 4, requesting that they send me the info. The lady asked for my member #. I could not provide it. As I never rec'd any material whatsoever. I truly hope I never need to be transported via ambulance. Whether by ground, or air. But it is encouraging seeing some of the reviews stating that the company came through when needed. Hopefully, someone from the company will call me. And arrange to have my membership package sent to me as soon as possible.Review from Jonathan E

I signed up for MASA with my family never thinking we would really need the service. However we did need to be flown, both my wife and I to a trauma center. MASA Global, Medical Air Services Association made the claims process easy! They worked with the provider and resolved our claims with great satisfaction that we no longer have giant air helicopter bills hanging over our shoulders. This is one service you want for your family to protect you if you are ever in a time of need. I can't thank MASA enough again for the service and support to our family.Review from Joann Vanantwerp

I recently fell and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. My primary insurance paid some of the bill. I was billed for the remainder. I submitted the bill to MASA. It was paid promptly. I am very pleased.Medical Air Services Association of Florida, Inc. Response
