My halo that i purchased from them at a trade show in ********** is falling apart and can not be colored to match my color, despite them saying it could. I purchased what was SUPPOSED to be the infrared 2 in 1 hair straightener/curler at the NY state fair but was given a ceramic plated hair straightener instead. I was sat down and the woman showed me how to use the infrared tool, how to straighten and curl my hair with it. We bartered back and forth on the price and she sold it to me for $100. I specifically wanted the infrared tool that was used on my hair but in the box was just a ceramic plated straightener and NOT the one she was supposed to sell me. I specifically told her I wanted the infrared tool because I already had a ceramic plated straightener and wanted something new. When I got home and opened the box to try it out I noticed what she had actually given Me. I reached out to the company and have had no response at all. On 7/27/2024 I purchased a ***** A Vie Airflow 2 in 1 curling iron at the *********************. I was told that the product had a warranty and that I needed to register it so that the company would repair or replace it if anything was wrong with it. I registered the item on 7/31/2024 and received a confirmation email. That same day I tried to use the curing iron and found out it is defective. It won't even turn on. I tried emailing the company using the email listed on their website ******************************** but the message was returned to me with the statement that "there is no one at this address." I submitted a comment with my name, email, and phone number on the Contact Us page of their website on 7/31/2024 and never received a response. The phone number listed on their website just rings and rings. At this point it appears I've been scammed, but I'm hoping I haven't.Initial Complaint

My children purchased a professional light weight styling comb from a Belle a Vie salesperson at a local county fair on 6/17/24. They bought it was because 1) I was so pleased with the live demonstration on my hair, 2) the lifetime warranty, and 3) the salesperson's insistence that the device would work without issue when I was in ****** on a cruise. I had registered the product under the warranty before I left for my cruise later in June. Almost immediately after using the product in ******, a burning smell started to occur and it stopped working altogether. I was disappointed but figured I could claim the warranty for a replacement product. When I returned home on 7/3/24, I went on the website and followed the directions on their "return your styling tool" page, which states, "With Lifetime Warranty on ALL of Our products, simply purchase our return shipping fee item and we'll send you a new styling tool free of charge." I added the return shipping to my cart and the total went up to $35.00. I figured that this was a fee to cover sending the device back to them and them sending a new one to me, so I completed the order for $35.00 (order number 1202). On the confirmation page, the following text appeared: "We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent."As of 8/1/24 I have received no communication from Belle a Vie, nor any shipping label that I could use to send the defective product back to the company for an exchange. I tried calling the company, however no one answered. I submitted a form on their Contact page with all relevant details about my original purchase, the $35 shipping fee, and my concerns about the lack of response. As of 8/1/24 the company did not reply to my contact form on their website. I also sent an email on 7/31/24 to the company to explain the situation/request a response. They have not replied. I am at a loss and going to pursue chargebacks for the original purchase and shipping fee.Initial Complaint

I was scammed into purchasing a skin care system at a Home Show, yesterday 5/5/24. The products and system are a complete scam. The links they showed me from the internet including links from **** are fake and completely false! They have very aggressive and false sales tactics. Once I got home and did my own search, I found they had lied about everything. The whole thing is unopened and I am trying to return it for a refund. I attended a home show in ******* ******** transaction number ****** subtotal of the package $1500. The package included a halo hair extension which was purchased as wrong color, an infrared, titanium, flat, iron infrared, curling comb and an infrared hot airbrush within six months, the infrared hot airbrush along with the titanium infrared flat iron has a broken heating element and does not get hot. I tried to reach out to this company by phone three times with no response leaving voicemails last one occurring on January 10, 2023 I did fill out , their lifetime warranty and the beauty tools and have spent a lot of money on their products. I would like a brush and flat iron replacement sent to my address.Business Response

I contacted the company many times at first not getting through cause they have 3 different numbers. Finally on the 4 number I found last someone answered. I was supposed to get the Titanium flat iron. He was suppose to send the titanium and I was going to send back the ceramic flat iron. I waited a few days nothing. I called 3 more times. Still nothing. I was given the cheaper flat iron for the price of the titanium with infrared. I want the correct iron.Business Response

I bought a Belle a Vie styling comb at ********** **. at a trade show and registered it for a lifetime warranty. It went out in 6 months and attempts to contact the company by phone were unproductive. This year in February I saw they were selling this same product under a different brand name. An employee said she used to work for Belle a Vie and took my name and contact information saying she would get ahold of the owner of the company. He never called. I am out my money. I have never received a call or email from this customer? We do not have any other brands besides belleavie so whoever she talked to was not apart of our company as for her lifetime warranty she is good to go and use as long as she follows the steps on the website at belleavie.com
Accusing us of being fraudulent is not okay and we have never done business under a different name than Belleavie.

I was at a wedding expo a few months ago and purchased the blow dryer brush, the straightener, and the styling comb (which was my original reason for purchasing in the first place) When I got home I realized I was given 2 straighteners and no styling comb. I reached out to the company in this regard and a few days later received a response. The address that was sent to me to return the product did not seem legit and they had messaged me to send back the comb and be replaced with a new straightener. I asked them to verify that they had it wrong and that I would be returning a straightener and in place getting the styling comb I had originally purchased. No one ever responded to my email that was sent on 1/11/23. In other words I never received product I originally ordered and was given little to no customer service. 10/10 wedding expos should ban this company from attending as Ive seen other complaints about this company.Business Response
