      I purchased this plan at the end of May 2024 and didnt start to seek out dentists til the end of June. I couldnt find a dentist from the list online that participated in this plan so I called customer support and they sent me another list of providers and most say they also have not heard of and said they do not participate as well. I chatted with an agent who asked me for the dentists names - I have contacted 6 so far and agent told me to speak with the office manager to confirm their participation. I explained that for all six because they were not familiar with the name they have asked me to send a copy of my membership card to them and theyve all come back saying they dont participate. I asked the agent what was the process for getting a refund and she and they texted that refunds are provided after 30 days of enrollment which is ridiculous. If the plan doesnt provide the service a refund should be provided

Based on the information you've provided, it seems lyou are experiencing difficulties in finding a dentist who participates in the plan. When dealing with situations like this, it is crucial to communicate effectively with both the DentalPlans Consumer Relations Team  and the dental offices you contact. It's positive that you have already reached out to multiple dentists but  asking for confirmation of participation directly from the office manager is a good step in ensuring clarity . This is not the only plan offered in your area and you have the option to switch plans at no additional cost to you. We can also find you a dentist that is accepting your plan.  Please call in and allow  us an opportunity to address your concerns and assist you. If you still feel that you would like to cancel we can honor a prorated refund to you.

      REFUNF POLICY:

      We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, less the $20 processing fee, on all dental savings plans purchased from DentalPlans.com.

      Please call ************** to speak with our customer service department to discontinue your plan within the first 30 days of purchase.

      After 30 days of initial purchase, the DentalPlans.com Refund Policy is as follows: A member is eligible to receive a pro-rated refund only if DentalPlans.com cancels their membership with one of its networks for any reasonor if the fee schedule of the plan you have selected is not honored by at least one participating general dentistry provider in your vicinity. If your plan auto-renews: Within the first 60 days of the auto-renewal date, we offer a full refund of the plan price, less the $20 processing fee. Call ************** to speak with our customer service department for more information. After 60 days from the automatic renewal, the above refund policy applies. If you do not want your plan to renew automatically, you must set your account to Do Not Renew.

      Members can switch to another plan at any time during their membership. Contact our customer service department at ************** for assistance.

      Processing Fee: The processing fee is for the standard upkeep & administration of the members area and sending your plan information in the mail.

      State Exceptions

      ********: Members who cancel a membership within the first ************************************************* the plan will receive a full refund, including the $20 processing fee.
      ********: Processing fee is not applicable for plans sold to state residents.
      **************: Member shall receive a full refund of membership fees, excluding processing fee (if any), if the member cancels within the first 30 days after receipt of membership materials.
      *********: Members who have a plan that includes prescription discounts and who cancel their membership within the first 30 days after the effective date of enrollment will receive a full refund, including the $20 processing fee.
      To ensure that a cancellation request is processed, a member must speak with our customer service department by calling the number on their Membership ID Card.

      This is the worst fraud ever, bought plan last year, none of the dentist accepted the plan and says it's really not worth it. I called company to cancel, young lady claimed she canceled plan. Now fast forward last week this bogus company debits ****** out of my account, now 10 days later calling the bank and company. Still no monies have been refunded. I

      The dentist they list are not accepting their dental savings plan. Not one single dentist I contacted said they accept this plan. I paid the yearly fee and wasted my money. When you call customer service, they are rude. I feel I was scammed.

      I am trying to cancel my Dentalplans.com plan because my old dentist is retiring, but they are giving me nothing but runaround, making it impossible to get help, and some of the persons I have dealt with have been somewhat (or very) rude as well. I'm just lucky I didn't buy the three-year plan; then I'd be really screwed. Outrageous. The few I have gotten to talk with or chat with have all stated different times help is allegedly available, and yet it never is.

      This company practices harassment. I've told them repeatedly to STOP calling me and emailing me about renewing my service. I updated my profile on their website to not auto renew because I have dental coverage through work. They just WON'T take no for an answer. One more call and I'm suing for harassment.

      I decided not to renew and I have been constantly harassed by phone and email. I have spoken to a representative twice and asked that it stop. Terrible interactions both times.

      THEY TRIED TO SCAM ME by stating that I started but did not complete an application with them. I DID NO SUCH THING. They just want me to call them back so they can try to sell insurance to me. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DONE DOWN for trying to scam people like this.

      You are supposed to be allowed to switch your dental plan provider once during the year. I called to change from Cigna to Aetna since my dentist no longer takes *****. I was told that I had to renew my plan even though it does not expire for 2 more months. They said that you have to switch 4 months before your plan expires. The customer service rep and his supervisor both acknowledged this is not in writing anywhere. It is shady to me that they have rules without actually informing their customers about them unless it becomes an issue. I canceled my membership and will not be using their services anymore.

      I just purchased a dental plan yesterday and gave the lady on the phone my credit card information and I now have 3 transactions on that credit card for $350 each that someone made 3 different transactions at 11:30pm - 11:44pm last night for something in ********. I don't think it's a coincidence that I gave her my credit card information and then that happens. I've never had that happen ever until I purchased a plan from dentalplans.com. I am very selective on where& who I give my information to so I hope this company is more selective with who they are hiring to take people's personal information while purchasing their companies dental plan on the phone. So buyers please be aware!!
