On November 1st, I paid ****************** (the manager of the horse stable) $1000 for the care of my horse for the month of November. ****** runs a boarding stable called Silver Lining Equestrian. I had been boarding my horse with her for almost a year at this time, however on November 3rd, 2023 she said she was moving her stable to a new location. I immediately asked to see the new location and she told me to wait until the following Saturday November 11 as that was when she would have time. After seeing the ********, which is located in another city (original farm was in *****************, ******** is in Plantation, **) I didn't want to move my horse to this farm because it is located near a major busy intersection in ******* (there's closeby shopping centers) whereas the farm in ***************** is on a deadend quiet area...The ******** also was not gated, meaning that if my horse escaped or got loose, there was no fence to stop him from running loose on the streets....near the busy intersection. There were other features of the ******** that I also wasn't comfortable with (such as smaller paddocks/turnout areas for the horses, no designated dressage ring (which is used for my area of focus, where as her ******** only had a jumping ring). All of that to say that the ******** was not comparable to the farm I remained at. I told her that I didn't want to move with her and would be staying at the current farm under her old landlords care. I paid her $1000 (the standard monthly rate) on November 1st, and she moved out of the farm on November 15th. When I asked her for the board back for the remainder of the month Nov *****, she told me no. I have reached out multiple times to her to try and work something out, but she only ends up attacking me on a personal level so I've decided to reach out via BBB in hopes of collecting the $500...I had to pay for my horses' care twice for the last 2 weeks as I had to pay the farm landlords $500 directly for the cost of his care.

Attached is the boarding agreement that ************************* signed. I will locate in my files the signed *********** clearly states 30 days notice is required in order to terminate boarding with my business. I will also send the email where this agreement was sent to ****************. Legally by this document ************************* owes me for half the month of December 2023 as she gave notice middle of November *************************************************** She also had known since September 2023 that we were relocating and had done nothing but express excitement about the move especially since it is much closer to her residence.

September 29, 2023 is when I first texted ****** about moving as you can see attached. She clearly says I support the move if its what you decide to do!

October 21, 2023 I clearly state that we are pretty much confirmed to move. I also discuss the shortfall of what she is paying each month versus what her horse cost me to care for each month. This was an issue going on several months. I could ask her to cover the many months she shorted me on board expenses for her horse.
