Should be called AmWorse. No Americans answering the calls. I'm paying 400.00 a month and still cant access online. After three calls they keep telling me 7-10 business days. I guess if I waited to pay them over 7-10 business days they might rethink. This is not acceptable. If anything health wise happens to me I'm holding this company responsible for lack of knowledge given and not giving me what I'm paying for. ****this company. I don't want to give them any stars, but I will give them 5 starts for consistently being inconsistent! The network is small to begin with and you can't trust the in-network provider search. They say the nurse line is 24/7...well it must not be 365 as the recording on the nurse line stated business hours M-F. I can not wait for 2025 Open Enrollment...anything but Ambetter!Review from Jeffrey S

You ask 5 people a question at Ambetter and you'll get 10 answers. Almost no doctor, hospital or procedure wants to accept Ambetter. They are the lowest of bottom feeder type of health insurance companies. Feels very 3rd world when you communicate with anyone there. Don't believe me. Is there a minus???? The crappiest insurance EVER!! Don't even consider it!! My son just got out of the hospital after eleven days and has yet to see a nurse in his home. Even the nurses said Ambetter is the worst company they ever dealt with! My son needed to go to a rehab after hospital and the only one he was referred to was a shithole with roaches, stench of urine and nurses that can't speak English. I wouldn't send my dog there. Now he's waiting for home health care and they told me it takes 7- 10 days for them to process the referral. So in the meantime if my son dies it'll be Ambetters fault. What a joke of insurance!!!Review from Ed D

C*** service. They deny medications and appeals are useless - same excuse: provider submitted an incomplete form, which is false as its done through their website. Supervisors never call you or line drops all of the sudden. Run away from Ambetter, because YouR worse with themReview from Mark M

I wouldnt give Ambetter 1 star. I purchased Ambetter Insurance thru market place after losing my job. I am a diabetic for 15 yrs now. Before Ambetter, my My A1C was great. Now 6 mths later my A1C is 10 points higher because this ins company will not approve any medication except Ozempic .25mg, I was on Trulicity 1.25 mg. Im definitely feeling the difference in my health. I would leave this company now, but I start ******** in 2 months. I spoke to a rep for Ambetter a few days ago named ***. I explained my concerns and was needing help with a dentist as well. I told him I had a tooth hurting I was sure had to be extracted. He said he would text me a dentist that afternoon. Its three days later and Ive heard nothing and in worse pain. Ambetter also offers a vision Ins. Being diabetic I had my annual eye exam. They paid for my exam and to my surprise they do not cover prescription glasses. Folks the premiums may be cheaper but the out of pocket expense will get you. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM AMBETTER. Horrible insurance... cant find any provider to take this insurance.. even though they list them.. doctor don't thst it.. veey deceitful insurance *** Can't get throught to customer serice.. errornous billing system.. constantly fighting to get them to cover anything.. Denies when you have ALS on your deathbed ! Takes forever to get authorization and then you have to do a pier to pier just get an authorization and half the time they deny anyway ! Drs making determinations when they have even seem patients ! And if can walk with ****** even though you have a terminal disease they will deny you care ! Other bad reviews are correct. Should be lawsuit. Your copay doesn't mean anything. Should be against the law.
