Arrived at 5pm for a full day's job. The 2 men crew was only 1 man, and after the fact, I found out he was not as knowledgeable and professional as he was supposed to be. Eventhough very nice. The job was finished at 12:15AM.I did not sign his paperwork, since we were not happy but that did not stop them from charging my card without even giving me a call to ask what went wrong.Measurments were so wrong, 1 of the closets litterly pushed the wall so that the room's door won't close. From another closet, we had to remove the sliding door so we could actually use the drawers!The "fillers" are not filling anything, they are ugly, long, bulky covers for the space between the closet and the wall, another mistake in measuring if you ask me. The total job quality is not good, the materials are cheap, some of the shelves are chipped, dirty and even too short and wiggly. The cocking is apparent and is on top of the shelves where it shouldn't be.The sales person will never tell you that you are not getting a back board to cover the holes and damages from removing your old closet or shelving unit. He will forget to mention it because "you were looking for something cheaper and the back board is very expensive...". He will also not recommend the correct shelves depth for the same reason. He will let you sign the contract and then find out for yourself that the 12" shelves are not deep enough for you and that whole those holes and damages on the wall that are now apparent were your responsibility to fix. But now it is too late because you already have the closets installed and fixing the wall correctly is nearly impossible. The shelves are already made for you in that depth that "you chose", eventhough the professional that was supposed to advise you on what is best, or what is correct didn't because his only goal was get you to sign the contract. No matter that what you purchased is a very low quality, ugly and not exactly what you wanted, needed or expected!

Under no circumstances should anyone consider hiring Closets by Design.This company is deceptive, abusive, extremely unprofessional, and devious.The phone # is a call center and no one gets back to you.They demand payment in full before commencing installation. Once paid they act as if there was no contract or written scope of work.I had a two day installation window and on the second day they did not arrive on the job until 2:00 PM. They said they had to go to another job, and stayed in my bedroom until 8:30 PM. At the end of the second day it was clear they were not even close to finishing the job. I had to delay a business trip so they could come back a third day.On the third day the entire laundry room cabinetry was fabricated incorrectly, and could not be installed. The installer left and no one from the company reached out regarding a resolution solution.The installers had to borrow my ladder and did not bring a dust pan or broom. They had no intention of cleaning up my bedroom after working either day.Stay away from these ******.

The overall experience was bad. There seems to be a complete disconnect among the members of the company. The financial controller *********************************** was the rudest and most unprofessional person, who kept calling non-stop, telling us to pay the other haft of the money for installing our closets when we wanted to pay once they fixed the issues. When I answered the call, she kept screaming at me, saying they would take our house. When all we wanted for them to do, was fix the errors on the installation. I feel we were treated very poorly even after communicating our concerns with them. Today I decided to write to the BBB because I feel threatened after leaving Closets By Design South Florida, a ****** Review. ******* called me trying to talk about the ****** review right after I posted it. I hung up the call and got a text from them, telling me I must delete the ****** Review within 24 hours. I feel unsafe that they are trying to scare me every time, saying that they are calling their lawyers; they do not try to be friendly, not even a little. I do not want anything else from them; they discounted $400, we already paid, and I just decided to share my experience. I think I have the right to do so. They do not have the right to make me delete a review or make me feel unsafe for sharing my experience.

This company provides absolutely horrible customer service. They are a franchise working under the name Closets by Design, which seemed to be a reputable company. They showed me the brochures with high quality closets, and then installed very low quality cheap closets that I would never buy. The owner informed me that there is no one to complain about the quality and service, she can do whatever she wants, because she is an independent business owner. They also damaged the walls and the entry door at my brand new, freshly painted condo. They refused to fix the damages. The owner insulted me and said I had bad manners, because I simply wanted the quality to match the level of my condo, especially for the high price I paid. I asked the owner to provide me with the electronic copy of my contract, she said "Absolutely No".
