Upon reviewing your comments, we understand that there might be some confusion regarding the protection a credit freeze offers compared to our Protect Your Identity program. While a credit freeze, which is freely available from the credit bureaus, restricts access to your credit report to prevent new accounts from being opened in your name, it does not encompass all aspects of identity protection.
Our Protect Your Identity program, which does have a fee, is designed to offer a more comprehensive solution. It aims to safeguard your personal information, mitigate the impact of any fraudulent activities, and assist with the recovery process if any damage occurs. This program complements the credit freeze by covering areas it does not, such as existing account fraud and identity recovery assistance.
