I purchased a vanguard solid oak table from Baers. The table has been a total disaster since i purchased. When they delivered it the first time, the people who delivered it did not know how to put it together. I got no response of when they were going to deliver it again. A person happened to call and ask how my table looked when I informed her "what table they did not know how to put it together". I got text of when they were going to re deliver with no apology for it not being convenient (and I had to take another day off of work for the delivery). After table was delivered not less than 3 months, the paint/stain started to peel. They sent a tech from Baers and the tech stated it was customers fault and we caused damage to the table. We used the table once to eat on it (with it covered with a table cloth) and my son put legos together on it. Nothing was spilled on it. I contacted vanguard and they sent me paint/stain and who to call in *************** to repair. They stated the stains could be touched up and would match. The repair guy came out and said they would not match, he had to take the table and restain the entire thing for $$$$$ of dollars. I feel the table was defected and not sealed appropriate. but Baers will do nothing under the one year warranty.Review from Connie S

After having a bad hiccup with Baer's Furniture I received a call from a Beth ******** at Baer's in Pompano to resolve my problem. I then decided to drive to the Pinecrest location. There I was greeted by a salesperson that really enjoyed doing her job! Her name was Nydia. I did make a purchase but could have left without making one and she would of had the same pleasant disposition. I have been in there in the past and when I left I felt the salesperson was disappointed I did not make a purchase . Today my experience was excellent!Review from Christine L

Terrible customers service after having spent 10k in furniture I have been trying since early November to get parts for my recliner. Called on 2/1 and thry said they would get back to me in 2 days. Called again 2/15 and said I would hear back. Called again 2/19 left a message with the manager's vm.Review from Sharon S

Terrible customer service. Bait & switch, even for the delivery date. Computer Issues. Couldnt find out if items were in stock. Wouldnt write up a contract until we insisted. She said too much work in case we would change our mind. Then all upcharged, luckily we had taken pictures of the tags. Didnt write anything down *** then made us show her the items multiple times. Then still got it wrong. Will never shop there again.Review from Brian Q

After spending over $34,000 furnishing a 2 bedroom condo I had an issue with a bedroom set that was distressed. We received a couch, recliner, two mattresses and two bedroom sets. I refused delivery of one bedroom set because it was distressed, the salesman agreed that it wasnt distressed on the showroom floor so he stayed lets try a second set and if it is distressed dont accept it take photos and we will go from there. Second delivery and again it was distressed I sent him 15 photos he said ok dont accept it and you should get your money back. Manager and owner refuse to give me my money back saying it only comes distressed. I went to the showroom and the set we looked at was gone, I was *********** was moved to a new location, I then go to the new location and they now have a white distressed set on the floor. After all the money I spent this is how they treat their customers, now I understand all the bad reviews on this company. Do yourself a favor and go to a different store do t deal with Baers Furniture!!Review from Shelley-Ann H

Baers Furniture Store in ************* sold me a ********* sofa that was the display model and never advised me of this and charged me for it as the going price. They never gave me the discretion of advising me that the sofa was the floor model. I bought the couch in May of 2022. I was delivered unwrapped from truck and may have sustained damage. The sofa has a standard one-year warranty. Now, for about 3 months, the sofa has been squeaking on one side. Their warranty furniture repairman did a great job fixing one side of it, but the other side continues to make noise. Typically, when furniture companies sell you a display model, you are advised, and it is customary for them to reduce the item by ***** percent. Baers did none of this. They packed it up on the truck from the showroom and brought the sofa to my home Normally, new furniture is wrapped in packaging and plastic. The sofa had none of this, it was placed on the truck and pawned off as a new couch. The manager only responded to me by email twice with no resolution. I have made multiple calls to corporate, and they take down what I say and say they will call me back, but never do. During a conversation with a representative, I was confirmed with me that the couch that was delivered, it was out of stock, and I most likely got the display model. I am going back and forth and consider taking legal action. I have asked them to send the repairman back to my home and see if he could fix it so I can keep it because I love the sofa. Also, if it can be fixed, to give me a discount to put towards another item from Baers. There has been no response from corporate since I reported this in early December. I, as the consumer, feel that this reflects poorly on Baers, People come to this establishment for quality furniture that is not always sold by its major competitors. I will be contacting consumer affairs and leaving a ****** review on this company.Review from Linda H

If there was a minus 1, I would have put it down. I ordered two side chairs, that were not cheap. After waiting over 9 months, they were finally delivered. They were beyond horribly upholstered. Looked like I bought the in Target!!They weren't even put together property. After going back and forth with *******************, they were sent back to the manufacturer.I waited another 8 weeks for them. When they were delivered, they were somewhat better than before, but still looked like they upholstered in a workshop for the blind. I called *******************, total waste of time. He assured me that they were upholstered correctly, oh, and he knew that without ever looking at them.If you're looking for furniture and customer service, I would run, not walk to ****** or anywhere other than ****.Review from Jeffery Louis C.

The customer service is terrible it took almost 2 months for them to look at my couch a leather couch from the natuzzi has blisters on one side of sofa and the other side of the sofa needs more stuffing cuz it's very uncomfortable to sit on and bears will do nothing to fix it I just bought the couch in March 2023 I finally called ******* sent them pictures of my sofa and they're going to send somebody out to fix my couch Mr **** should be ashamed of his company and some of the people that work there poor customer service and they could care less about the customer.Baer's Furniture Co., Inc. BEWARE! Furniture movers STOLE from my home!! Contacted police and store. All store could do was ask the FOUR movers if they stole anything, once they denied, there could be no further investigating. THESE FOUR MOVERS ARE STILL EMPLOYED. Still working for the company. God forbid they are around your children, or your valuables. BEWARE THIS COMPANY ARE ALLOWING THESE WORKERS TO CONTINUE WORKING WITH THEM. Management did nothing!!! I dont want this happening to any other family.
