      I hired this company to move my house items from *********** ** to ***************. They picked up the items and raised the price to move them. It was suppose to be about a week to get to ********, but they never arrived. We attempted to call them multiple times but no response, so we filled a police report and police said they were stolen It has been almost 2 years and still no refund or items delivered.

      I had booked Gold Standard Moving and Storage on May 2,2021 for my move from *********, ** to ****, ** by paying the deposit $1556.52 using ClickPay platform. My Job Reference Number was: G*******, and the move was scheduled for Jun 26, 2021. No one showed up for the move and after getting in touch with customer service they said my deposit will be refunded. The reference number for cancellation was ******* and promised it will be processed in **** business days. I kept calling and emailing but every time a new reason was given. I published a review on the BBB on Nov 15, 2021 where the business owner replied they will take additional ***** days. for waiting more than promised days I would like to lodge a complain against this business for withholding my deposit and request to pay that back to me with interest.

      On 09/27/ 2021, we were moving from **********,** to ******* were hired Gold Moving and Storage to move ** , however we changed our minds within 24 hrs and cancelled our transaction (*******) and was told wed receive our $ ****** in 4-6 weeks, each time we called they said they were with a new bank and it would be another 4-6 weeks this has been going on for over a year and a half, now theyve blocked my number, can you please help?

      This company scammed me out of my money which was over $800 and assured me I would get my money refunded. It was never refunded and they are now no longer able to contact. I reached out MULTIPLE times and nothing. They always said within 2 weeks or but this date and still never refunded me my money. Under contract they are required to refund me my money. I have waited far long enough.

      I paid a deposit of $548.00 for them to move my granddaughter from **** to ********. My daughter went to **** for the move to help her daughter. Company cancelled on ** literally at the last moment leaving ** hanging and scrambling to find a way to accomplish this move which ended up costing us approximately $3000.00 more due to God Standard not showing up. I have contacted them numerous times to return my deposit and they said the delay was due to their payment processing agency and they are were working on it. Now, I the phone just rings busy. I am retired and on a limited income so could use this money.

      On 10/14/21 I gave a **** dollar deposit for a move and then realized I jumped the gun and the move was not going to happen so soon so within the free cancelation period I canceled and got a refund confirmation email on 10/18/21 and was told Id have it within 90 days. I have spoke to them on the phone numerous times and have been told they cannot release the funds because a different company has all of the money on hold and they wont release it. It is now 2/20/23 and I have still yet to receive a single ***** from my deposit.

      I am filling this complaint against Gold Standard Moving And Storage LLC. They promised to do moving services, scheduled on 10/20/2021-10/22/2021 but never showed up. I did prepayment of $801. After long conversation and wait, they agreed that they never did service and promised to refund, I attached email confirmation as well. I waited too long, they always was stretching time, every time I called they were saying *****, 60, 90 days and etc. after they said business days, means excluding the weekends, that's why I was waiting so long, Refund never happened and I was not able to dispute this transaction through my bank because charge on bank transaction shows like I wrote a check, which I never did. I still need to get refund and will try to help everyone who was scammed to close this scammer company.

      I contracted with Gold standard moving to move from ******** ** to ****** ** .I was given a bid $8300. This was after an extensive conversation with *******************. We negotiated quite a bit and he got his supervisors approval to offer this rate as apparently they had another job in the same area. I sent a deposit in the amount of $2647.43 as instructed to reserve their service. A few days later, another person from this company called. We went through the same process as I did originally with *********This time he quoted me $12k. I told him I wanted to cancel. He laughed and said I couldn't cancel. He was very unprofessional. The day of the move there was a company named " all over the state moving and storage " that showed up. The representative immediately indicated that the things would not fit on the truck provided. He indicated that items needed to be in a crate in order to transport. He wrote a new bid indicating it would be $16k I mentioned the original bid was $8300. He mentioned that he was not responsible for the original quote. At this point, I wanted to cancel. I called gold standard moving and storage. They refused a refund. I would like to request help in receiving a refund for services not being provided According to our contract. This is fraud.

      On 7/13/2021 gold standard moving and storage gave us an estimate to move some furniture from ******** to ********** we accepted their estimate they required a deposit of $648.00, they stated they could only accept a credit card, we complied credit card was charged given the circumstances this was a probate issue that the material had to be moved by a certain date they guaranteed the items would be removed from the home and shipped by that date the day of the move date they contacted us and said they could not move the items until months later which was unacceptable due to a probate they had to be moved that day we then had to hire somebody else to go in pick the items up and get them out of the house we requested a refund from gold standard moving to which they sent confirmation saying the refund was approved and I have documentation to prove that as of today this date 12/6/2022 we have still not received the refund that we were promised we have been in contact with this company over and over their phone numbers change the people change and they continue to promise us a refund yet we never receive one, this is why I've waited so long to complain if they kept stringing me along saying that they were going to send the refund it'll be a couple of months you'll get your refund in a couple of months is all I've heard all along and then I wait and I don't get it and I make another call and they promise me again. I have several emails confirming their commitment to refund the money back.

      On July 11, 2021, I signed a contract with Gold Standard Moving Company in ******* and made an electronic payment in the amount of $2,373.00 for a deposit to secure our move from ****** to *****. On July 21, 2021, I canceled our move within the 10-day allotted time frame (stated on the contract) to receive a full refund. I have called the company many times and was only allowed to speak with a customer service representative. I also filed a complaint with the ******* Attorney General and thought I would get results by now. However, I have not heard back from them. Thus, I am contacting the BBB. Please see the attachments below for supporting documentation. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
