This is NOT a moving company, they are a BROKER for third party moving companies (which was never disclosed). We were told they are a veteran owned and operated moving company. They even told us "we have a port in your city as well as the city you are moving to". They beat any rate we were quoted by hundreds of dollars, assured us they would be handling everything, they do that route all the time and would probably even do it in fewer days than initially quoted, etc. Red flag number one: they RUSH you to sign the contract, within 20 minutes of being on the phone to get a quote I was being told if I didn't sign and pay right then and there I would lose out on the rate. Mind you, they are texting me info, knowing I'm on my cell and trying to do all this at once. So in a panic thinking I am going to miss out on a great deal I sign and send payment. Only after I send that I get the contact which has our moving date the FOLLOWING day, that was red flag number two. Red flag number three: the inventory I gave them they vastly under quoted the size of (I told them I had about 20, 27 gallon tubs they took it upon themselves to put the dimensions as 16x16x16, when they are closer to 15x20x30) so I would be charged more once everything was packed. Red Flag number four: when reading the contract more thoroughly I finally saw they are a "broker" not the moving company that supposedly does the route "all the time". After all these red flags started popping up I immediately contacted them to cancel. They got back to me the following Monday, initially starting by telling me I could not cancel or get any kind of refund because it was within 2 weeks of my moving date.. I told them from the start I was moving at least 7 weeks later and they fumbled and said that I was moving the next day. Now after speaking with at least 4 different people they are willing to give me a refund of 85% and keep their 15% broker fee.. even though their contract states I have 72 hours to cancel.

I contacted this business in Sept to schedule my move from MA to GA. I dealt with TAYLOR throughout this whole incident. I came up with an estimated inventory so that I can get a quote making it clear that I had not started packing yet. Taylor assured me if I needed to update my inventory list to at least give him notice a week prior to the scheduled move. My initial inventory has an estimated volume of 10,500lbs and it included; 2 queen beds, 1 loft bed, 1 twin bed, 1 computer desk, 2 single dressers, 1 deep freezer, 5 shelves, 1 microwave, 1 cat tower, 1 tv shelf, 1 mirror, 1 three-piece u-shaped sectional, 1 bean bag, 1 fish tank, 1 grill, and a combination of bins and bags totaling 70. I was given a quote of $3829.01. I was originally given a move date of 10/30, which I had to change to 11/28. As I started to pack I got rid of 5 of the large furniture items and ended up with an estimate of 40 more boxes and bags. I informed Taylor of this 3 weeks prior to my scheduled move. When movers actually came to pick up my things they could only fit parts of my sectional and 9 bags!! Taylor tried to blame that on me changing my inventory when my original inventory could not even fit on the truck. I was then told a second truck would come within the next few days to get the remaining items. The few items that were delivered came damaged. I've gone back and forth with Taylor on when my items would be delivered only to be yelled at hung up on and blamed for his screw-up. A manager named Kelly called me from a blocked number and assured me it would be resolved and that I would receive an insurance claim form for the damaged items but that did not happen. I tried to dispute the charge with my bank and Taylor somehow forged documents stating I signed off on a delivery of all items on the contract. The only thing I signed off on was the delivery of pieces of my ruined sectional and 9 bags. It is 12/31 and still no resolution or communication from them! I want my MONEY BACK!!!
