I did research for my daughter moving from ** to **. I was told they had an empty truck from ** to CA for a military family. They would happily give a discount to move her 2 bedroom apt so that the truck would not be empty. Quoted $2000. When my daughter talked with them, she added a couple items that I forgot, but she also dropped a bigger item (trundle bed). The actual movers were ****************** Moving. The actual cost was $6600. They said it was because they couldn't drive a semi down her street, so they had to move things twice. They said the same thing in **. She has no idea if it EVER was in a semi and they just used it to upcharge. **** answered all my questions, seemed honest, said it was a veteran owned company. My guess: all lies. They also charged for "packing" such as wrapping furniture in blankets, etc. That was not included in the quote apparently. I had the name of a more expensive mover who said they use their own trucks. Their price was about $3500. Should have gone with them.

This is NOT a moving company, they are a BROKER for third party moving companies (which was never disclosed). We were told they are a veteran owned and operated moving company. They even went as far as to tell us "we have a port in your city as well as the city you are moving to". Everything seemed like it was adding up, they beat any rate we were quoted by hundreds of dollars, assured us they would be handling everything, they do that route all the time and would probably even do it in fewer days than initially quoted etc. Red flag1: they RUSH you to sign the contract, within 20 minutes of being on the phone to get a quote I was being told if I didn't sign and pay right then and there I would lose out on the rate. Mind you, they are texting me info, knowing I'm on my cell and trying to do all this at once. So thinking I am going to miss out on a great deal I sign and send payment. Only after I send that I get the contact which has our moving date the FOLLOWING day (remember that, it's important later) that was red flag 2. Red flag 3: the inventory I gave them they vastly under quoted the size of (I told them I had about 20, 27 gallon tubs they took it upon themselves to put the dimensions as 16x16x16, when they are closer to 15x20x30) so I would be charged more once everything was packed. Red Flag4: when reading the contract more thoroughly I saw they are a "broker" not the moving company that supposedly does the route "all the time". I immediately contacted them to cancel (within hours). They got back to me the following Monday, initially starting by telling me I could not cancel or get any kind of refund because it was within 2 weeks of my moving date.. I told them from the start I was moving at least 7 weeks later and they fumbled and said that I was moving the next day. Now after speaking with at least 4 different people they are willing to give me a refund of 85% and keep their 15% broker fee.. even though their contract states I have 72 hours to cancel.

7 of these reviews are clearly created by the same person. Same writing style. Same composition. Same sequence of compliments. This moving company really ******* me over. It cost me $7000 to move from Illinois to Georgia with a small two bedroom move. I had buyers remorse after I had to make a change because the allotted amount for moving was so small it would not accommodate my small two bedroom home. I decided I would forgo some of my furniture, I called them back immediately to make changes to my move and they said they would not do that. They did not want to reimburse me for any of the money I was going to be spending with them. Even after baking them, they were unwilling to budge . *** was an absolute C U Next Tuesday!
