Another Victim of Expo Vanlines I am unable to contact them, the phone # is not connected and the web site is not accessible. We paid $2300.00 in advance for services that we did not received. we were planning on moving to Oregon from Michigan and set up a contract and signed via E mail. They will say anything to get your business then they will assign a moving service. the moving company called, but we had changed our date to move, so luckily we didn't loose more money. I had read some negative reviews and talked to them about the complaints. I was transferred to a manager where they explained away all the complaints and basically said that they are a newer company trying to get off their feet. they where very convincing but I don't know what to do at this point. EXPO VAN LINES IS A DISHONEST COMPANY. They will assure you that they will take care of you and will give you a rate. They will say anything to get your business then they will assign a moving service. I had read some negative reviews and talked to them about the complaints. I was transferred to a manager where they explained away all the complaints and basically said that they customer had lied about how much they were moving. I told them that we had a completely full 20x20 storage unit. They extended a "flat rate". NOT TRUE. We discovered there is no such thing as a flat rate. In the contract they did state that it would be a 20x20 storage unit but put a weight down that only covered 1/2 of the unit size. THEY LIED. When the moving company arrived and looked at our storage unit we were told it would cost us an estimated $7,000.00 (in addition to the $2,000.00 we paid at the time we paid we set up the service). EXPO VAN LINES IS A "BROKER". What that means is they can tell you anything they want in terms of the rate and the date "they" will move you but in reality the moving company will determine the moving date and will determine and "adjust" the rate once the moving truck arrives at the location to load and move your things. When the trucking company came to move us and informed us that not only was it NOT A FLAT RATE but that it was going to cost us $9,000.00 + to move us. We contacted Expo Van Lines. In short they said if we chose not to proceed that we were reneging from the contract and that the amount paid was non-refundable. WE WERE ROBBED. We sent the truck company away. There was no way we were going to pay $7,000.00 + on top of what we had already paid for. The supervisor/driver of the moving truck said he believed that we told Expo Van Lines that we had a full 20 x 20 storage unit but unfortunately based on his experience we would not be able to get our money back. We lost $2,000.00 that day. We went to U-Haul, rented a 26ft truck, had friends meet us at our storage unit. We loaded up and headed out to Texas.

ADVISE: Don't use a broker!!!! And definitely Do Not Use Expo Van Lines!!!! Do your research and carefully read your contract. DON'T BE A ******!!!!

Absolutely awful. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They lied, and subbed out our move to Inch Perfect Logistics LLC, and this company was just as bad if not worse. I tried to reach the people that worked with me on the quote and taking my money at Expo Van Lines, and some of the numbers were disconnected and I left ****, 15 messages and he never called back. They took our money, or I should say ***** our money and left us to deal with another horrible company. Several items were missing, several items damaged. They didn't complete the agreement and we had to scramble to find a storage unit on Labor Day weekend, even though our delivery wasn't supposed to happen paid for months when our house is ready. So, now, we are paying for monthly storage, and need to hire a local mover when its time to move into our new home. This is costing us over $2000 more and we already for the final move and set up to Expo Van Lines
