I made a purchase on the website on Saturday, March 30th. They had made an error in the pricing when I had purchased, which they believe is covered under their terms and conditions section. It reads: All prices are subject to change without notice. Steeda believes all prices listed in this catalog to be accurate at the time of printing, but cannot be responsible for typographical or other errors, or price change due to changing costs from suppliers. Please confirm current prices when ordering. In the way that it is written, yes it does cover items that are being purchased; with the key word being. Never does it state that once a purchase is made, processed, and withdrawn from the bank with a full processing number, tracking protection, and tracking id numbers can the prices be changed or orders be cancelled all together because they had made a mistake. They emailed me on Monday saying, the item you attempted to order had an error in the pricing on the website., but this was not an attempted order. This was an order that had already processed with receipts and money being taken out. If it were in my cart and I was going to make a purchase on it, Id completely understand and agree with their terms and conditions statement but what they did was against my right as a consumer as they had signed their portion of our contract when they accepted my payment and sent me a receipt. Furthermore, when it is posted as a sale item with big red letters, the correct % off in big red letters; at the very least it would be considered as false advertisement to attract individuals to their website to make purchases. I would just advise anyone and everyone to use extreme caution when purchasing from Steeda, and to avoid at all costs when they have items on sale because odds are that youll also get an email after everything has been processed, receipts have been sent, and money has been pulled; that they are cancelling your order.

****************** order was cancelled due to a pricing malfunction on our website the part he wanted to order normally retails for over $2500 and fits a very specific year, make,model mustang.  He was promptly refunded the  $23.94 plus tax and shipping charges to his original pay method.

I have never had such a disrespectful and just purely negative experience. I tried to purchase a hard to find part for my car offer their website, showed in stock but the first comment states the customer was still waiting for the part. So thinking Steeda a "honest" brand I called to verify if they had the part or if the website just lacked an update. I was was so happy to have someone willing to verify the part I was about to order was in fact stock. He told me to hold for a few minutes after checking inventory so he could physically confirm yes we have the part. waited 3 minutes and so stoked to hear 'YES, We have 1 in stock I have my hands on it." So I ran to the website spend the nearly $700 dollars and got my order confirmation.EPIC! 2 hours later, I receive an email from a random contact at Steeda ********************* "saying sorry for the inconvenience." ********* no longer makes the part and we can't get it any more. Which at first I was like this has to be a mistake, So i responded to the emailing detailing I had called earlier that day and was assured it was in fact in stock before I placed my order. Only for ********************* to response with the following response: "We do apologize? Who did you speak to yesterday? I will go out and check again. Warehouse shows it on hand but not available. If it is there, we can reinstate the order if the refund has not been processed. Once the warehouse comes in, I can verify that.Do you still want it if it is available?Please advise as soon as possible Thank you for your patience, we do appreciate it." Not even an actually apologies or the forethought to provide a solution I could be happy with since this all originated from the simple fact, I was trying to avoid tying up $700 of my money while they take their sweet time to refund my card if they do. Cause as the email states they don't even know if my refund has even been processed. I just wanted to share my experience hopefully help someone avoid the issues.

Unfortunately, the part Mr. ******* tried ordering is illegal in the state that he wants us to ship to the ***************************** (CARB) prohibits modifying any emissions devices that his car is equipped with.  A refund will be issued to his original pay method.  We are deeply sorry that Mr.******* was not informed when he originally called to confirm part availability,perhaps it was not communicated to us the state that he lives in.  We apologize for ********************* contacting him about a discontinued part that we still had in stock, we will make sure our staff is better trained so that they do not contact customers in the future when parts are available to ship out to the non-regulated states.
