On March 28, we picked up a new 2024 *** 540i XDrive from BMW of Pompano Beach. (VIN:*****************). As far as we knew, all agreed terms and conditions on the 3 year/36K mile lease were consistent with the Dealer's Lease Term Sheet as approved by Manager ***********************. As we were going through the process of changing ************** carriers, we discovered that the official lease document contained prices and values that were higher than the agreed and approved deal even though the monthly payment and upfront cash were consistent with the agreed deal: !) The MSRP/Market Value on the Dealer's Term Sheet (***): $76,215 but on the Official Lease Document (OLD). the Value of the Vehicle is $76,977.77. 2) The Total Price after discounts but including fees was $72,996.27 on the *** and the **************** Cost on the OLD was $74,157.75.3) Cash due at signing: $3,500 on the *** and $4,954 on the OLD. (We paid $3500 at the time we picked up the car as expected).We had asked our Sales Rep for assistance in understanding the differences and were advised that a ****************** representative would be in touch with us, We have attempted to contact the ****************** directly but no one has responded..The dealer has recently reimbursed us $1000 but it is unclear if any additional refunds are owed. The transaction also includes three warranties valued at $1,684 which we had neither requested or approved: a) Windshield Treatment: $589; b) Theft Protection: $485. and c) Battery Protection: $610. It was our understanding that these were "benefits" provided by the Dealer at no cost to us. If that is not the case, and the warranties have been included in the price of the car, we want the warranties cancelled and the transaction adjusted accordingly.
