Coastal Waste & Recycling located at ************************************ provides trash pickup service to me. They recently bought Pro Disposal which was my former provider. Beginning June 6th, 2024, they stopped picking up my trash. I called, they came and collected 3 days later. This happened again June 13th. Since June 20th, they have not serviced my account. I have called repeatedly, they continue to tell me they will pick up my trash and never do. This is turning into a health hazard with rotten food in 90+ degree weather. I pay $153.50 quarterly.Initial Complaint

I have trash services with Coastal Waste. They have not picked up my trash since May. I have emailed and called customer service atleast 1/2 dozen times promising pick up and a refund and nothing is happening. This business is taking peoples money and not providing the service!Initial Complaint

Coastal Waste and Recycling Customer # **** My name is *******************************, I've setup an autopay with the company so the company would charge my credit card on file for only my property *********************************************************. Instead they started charging me for all the invoices for Accent ******* Homes account. So far, they have charged me over $3,213.22 for the services that are not related to my property. I've tried to call, email, leave voicemails, but for about 3 months I was not able to get a hold of anyone. Finally ***************************** was able to remove me from autopay to prevent me from being automatically charged. I've been trying to get a refund from the company ever since, without any progress. It's been over 7 months since this incident, and no refund has been approved or given. I'm requesting a full refund of $3,213.22 plus an interest rate of 5% for the outstanding refund that has not been paid back since February 2023.Initial Complaint

I have cancelled my services with this company back in January. I was told I would be issued a refund for ****** when I cancelled. I never received it and I called back in February to be told a refund was never requested. I called again in March to be told they would process it again and it could take two weeks but their company was restructuring and it had to go thru all these people just to get a check. Employees clearly don't know what they are doing and have given me the wrong information from the start.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction: Oct 31, 2021 Order: 2 port-a-potties and sink for event. They billed for 3 port-a-potties. We paid $548.85 on 11/17/21. (Overpayment of $176.55)On 11/18/21, they said on a phone call that a credit adjustment was being mailed out. Since then the company has changed ownership to Coastal Waste and Recycling from Bobcat Disposal and they keep sending past due notices for the amount of $178.75, almost the exact amount they owe us. We have Coastal Waste for our dumpsters at our businesses. On multiple occasions they have not picked up. When I call to have a pick up scheduled they tell me that I'm on the schedule but never showed up. In the month of January I've had to rent a roll off dumpster twice totaling $366 each time because they pick up once in two weeks. I've been trying to cancel the service since January 19th without answer. I now have contracted with Republic Trash and they dropped their dumpsters off today. But Coastal still has their dumpster on our property. I just want them to cancel our service and come get their dumpsters. It shouldn't be this hard.Initial Complaint

- rented a dumpster for a roofing job - they placed it 30 ft away from the house - they refused to come back to place it properly, delaying the project - had to spend $400 to have someone else place it correctly - they come back to pickup and they damage the driveway at 3 different locations as well as destroy a tree.- these people claim ZERO responsibility for damage they caused - these uneducated people even complained that someone moved their dumpster even though THEY WERE TOO INCOMPETENT to place it correctly the first timeInitial Complaint

The quarterly rate I was given was $74.84 + $4.48 recovery charge totally $79.33 quarterly. My latest bill, my 3rd quarterly statement as a customer, was raised to a total of $96.26. The rate went from $74.84 to $86.85 and the recovery charge went from $4.48 to $10.41. There was no notice or communication of any kind from Coastal Waste prior to increasing my pricing. I called 1/20/23 @ 1:51pm and spoke to a representative, she told me they can raise prices whenever they want with no noticejust like the grocery stores with food. I paid the latest bill because I need trash service; however, I would like a refund and my bill corrected to the agreed upon rate when I signed up less than a year ago. I started a job for a customer who wanted to pay for a construction dumpster. Since I already had an account with coastal waste and recycling, and she didn't, I called to see what could be done so that my card wouldn't be charge for her dumpster for the time period we are working on the site. Coastal explained she could put her card on my account. So she did. After 2 months, we finished and moved to another job site. During all of this time, I keep getting notices that her card is getting charged for different amounts here and there. Non of them make any since unless you know the code language on the invoices. But I guess most people ignore this thinking it's legitt. I called to have her card removed from my account and ordered another construction dumpster for my new site. Now I'm receiving notices for different things on both cards. This goes on for months even after both she and I called more than a dozen times to have her card removed from my account and to only charge one card for one site and the other for the other site. How hard can it be? Two cards and two addresses! Just remove her card from my account. This should solve everything right? I lost count of the times I called and was told her card was removed from my account plus many email responses to the billing department. Again I was told it was taken care of over and over. Even my old customer kept calling over and over being told the same thing I was told. But still, the invoices kept rolling in with both cards getting charged for both job sites. So, now after many conference calls with management, they admitt they ******** my card and gave it to the other customer. Now ********************** refuses to issue my refund of $297.10, which I'm sure is low, but I will accept, unless they can collect from the old customer, who refuses. ********************** pulled this money with no authorization or notice to me. They should be responsible for refunding it to me. Not the other customer who had nothing to do with taking my money.Initial Complaint

Since Coastal Waste Solutions purchased Orion Waste Solutions, I have only received my weekly recycling service twice in nearly 3 months. They are scheduled to come weekly on a Wednesday and I have had my can out by the road on time, every time, but they never show up to get it! We have called in to report the problem 15 times in 3 months. The trash pick up is also once per week and they missed our trash at least 6 times in the past 3 months as well. The cans have spilled over into the street several times, requiring us to go out and attempt to recover the waste. We even received a visit from local Code Enforcement for having the cans out by the road overflowing and spilling. This would never have happened if they picked up the trash and recycling as they are supposed to be doing! We pay in advance for these services and the company is always closed when we get home to find the cans not picked up once again. This is not fair to us nor the environment. I have spoken to Customer Service Manager(s) a dozen times as well as the corporate office in Pompano last week. Nobody seems to be able to resolve the problem and receiving a tiny credit for the recycling is neither a solution to the issue. I would hate to have to fire them and hire another company, but it seems like that is what might have to be done. They claim they don't have enough employees to run the business. Why would you buy a company in Pinellas that had a great reputation, only to take it over and be awful?
