Legacy Healing and Detox deliberately lied to and misled me about the cost of my care. They deliberately did not disclose the fact that I had a deductible and the amount of my deductible. They told me I was covered by my insurance for my treatment. They called my EMERGENCY CONTACT and got them to pay my deductible. I did not give them consent to contact anyone regarding my care or my bill.Customer response

I was told over the phone that I was covered under my insurance for my care at Legacy Detox and Healing. They also told me that I would get FLMA, which is short term disability, that would be 60% of my normal paycheck. They offered to pay for my plane ticket but I refused and paid for it myself.
I arrived at Legacy July 18, 2022. I called my Father approximately a week later. He told me that Legacy called him and asked him to pay the deductible for my insurance, which was $3600.Legacy deliberately failed to mention that I had a deductible and the cost of my deductible.When I spoke to them on the phone I told them that I had been up for over 24 hours, I was high on cocaine and still drinking alcohol.Legacy also told me to have drugs and alcohol in my system when I arrived there so that my insurance would approve my claim.When I arrived there and signed my intake papers I had been awake over 24 hours and was under the influence of cocaine and alcohol.I did not read anything, nor was anything read to me.They asked me for an emergency contact. I gave them my father's information for my emergency contact.From my understanding they would contact my father in case of an emergency.Legacy never informed me that I had a bill, they never asked me to pay my bill.I have a job and I have my own insurance.I left Legacy August 2nd, 2022.After returning home I contacted Legacy billing department. They told me they could not refund my father's money. They could not send me a bill for the treatment I received.Business response
