I signed a contract with Assured on 2/6/19 and the project was completed by early 2020 that I recall because I had the inspection on 3/2020. In early 2021 I noticed the wall paint looked bad (picture attached). I never thought it was linked to water damage because their was no water. I signed a contract to remodel my kitchen on 11/10/21 and the project didnt start till 2/26/22 and on 3/16/22 when the remodeling company removed the window sill they saw the water damage and said they need to wait for the wall to get fixed before installing the sill. I called Assured and they sent **** to look at it and he confirmed the water leak and that they will seal the window and fix the wall but that there will be a fee. I told him how would I had known there was water damage if the water didnt come out the wall and I am within the 10yr warranty. This was on 3/17/22. He said he will need to speak to ***** and have someone come out. I was concerned about potential mold, so I contacted my insurance and they came out and inspected the damage and cut out all the damage and treated the *** This was all completed by 3/29/22. I have been calling Assured since 3/17/22 for them to come out and fix the window and my wall and they still havent come. I am still in the middle of my kitchen remodeling and I need them to come out and fix the window and wall promptly its been a month. As I had mentioned this is within warranty and I shouldnt get charged, plus its clean and ready to be patched after the window gets fixed. Ive attached several pictures and documents to prove my point. I also included a text from ***** and the remodeling company requesting an update.Business response

However, all is well & The Issue has been Resolved 100% & confirmed as such with Complainant.

Had windows installed was told there was a 20yr warrantee. Have a paper I signed, but the company never sign it. The installation was completed in Oct for over $11000. I have called many times and was told it would be emailed to me. Never happened. Still waiting. The installation was fine, the salesman was fine, but the office does not follow through when you call.Business response

We had shutters install 10/20/2020, although I'm happy with the shutters, they're no good to me unless a final inspection from the city is performed. Here we are approaching it's install anniversary and I'm still waiting for a final inspection to be scheduled. According to city records, the last time this was worked on was February of 2021. After countless emails asking for a resolve on this matter and being promised that it would get taken care of, I deem an escalation is necessary. If a hurricane comes and I experience damage, the insurance can claim that no final inspection was done, furthermore, the house can't be sold with a pending inspection. I need this resolved immediately.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2021/09/02) */ Mr. *******'s inspection was due to the City of Miramar changing their permitting process. We had submitted his permit paperwork to the City and they returned it to us stating they had a new process that must be followed. We prepared the paperwork as per their new instructions & re-submitted it to them and they rejected it again stating that the initial approval code was now expired. We then had to apply for a new approval code, which has been done. We have now re-submitted it to the City for approval which can take up to 4-5 more weeks to process. Mr. ******* has been advised of the updated information.
