Purchased a VW New Beetle Convertible from Champion Motors, Inc. (*****) on June 2, 2023. I live in ************* and had paid for transportation ($6850.00 est. figure of car, taxes and transportation costs). After the papers where signed and funds were transferred to ***** all communications stopped. He held my car for 2 + weeks, I had to hire my own transporter, which I paid for again. ***** would not release the car to the transporter, he made him wait 2-3 hours before he released it. Finally, after 3 weeks, the car arrived on a car hauler, however, there were no signed papers or title with the car.Next day, I called ***** to ask him about the title. He said, "I'll call you back", waited and waited a day or two, no response. I called again, he picked up the phone and hung up. It is now 2-1/2 mos. with no title. I've called him every day and his responses are "I'll call you back", "Call me later", hangs up, and the newest is..."the title is in the mail, it will be there tomorrow!" I've exhausted all options because the phone calls don't seem to work. I have the car in my possession, but cannot drive the car because it needs insurance, plates, and registration to be driven in the *********************. Without the title, I cannot drive the car. So... there it sits in my driveway.This dealer, *****, needs to have his dealer license revoked!!!! If you are looking to buy a car stop, do not pass go with this guy. He is an absolute *****!!!
