Two thumbs down for PV Plumbing! On July 6th, 2023, ***** at PV plumbing installed hot water heater and water softener in my newly purchased St ***** home. The home was vacant as we were in process of moving from WA state. The water to home had been off for a month as the old hot water tank in the garage had failed. I sent him a text on the morning of the install asking that he ensure all water faucets in home were off. He quickly responded stated he had already checked. My son-in-law showed up 20 hours later to find water pouring down from ceiling. The upstairs hot water sink faucet was on. It had a bad leak around its base allowing approx 1 gal per minute to run off the counter top and onto the floor. This neglect led to $50k in repairs and 2 months of work. I called ***** and he said he didnt know the home had an upstairs. Its obvious from the street profile that this home has an upstairs. Not to mention the staircase in the middle of the home. He went back to the house and confirmed the leak at the sink faucet. We spoke on the phone while he was at the sink. I was very annoyed, as he is the water professional, installing new water equipment, to a vacant home that had the water turned off before he arrived. And I had asked him to check the faucets, and he lied stating he had. I did not raise my voice or argue with him. His voice and comments showed no contrition. A few weeks later my wife reluctantly paid him for the install. 4 months later in November I finally arrive to the home. I decided to test the pressure relief valve on the water heater. This resulted in water gushing into the wall of the garage. He had not properly installed the .75 dia shark-bite on the outflow pipe. So now I had to cut into the drywall in the garage wall to ensure it could dry out. I had to send ***** texts a few times for him to send someone to fix the poorly installed shark-bite. I would think twice before using PV Plumbing.
