I brought an exhaust into Charlotte harbor exhaust and told them what I wanted done to it, and that I wanted it put onto the car after. I made the appointment for 2 weeks after that date and he told me I could leave the exhaust at their shop until my appointment day. I dropped my car off 3/1/23, he called me the same day and I had missed the call. When I called back he asked me what car it was for and stated he already talked to me, I told him he did not and he stated I wonder who that was then and hung up. He called me again later that day and said the job was done. I had a friend pick up my car since I was out of town at the time, when I came into town I realized he did the work I asked to be done, onto the exhaust that was already on the car. When I went back on Monday, the 6th and explained to him he did the job on the wrong exhaust, he stated that I didnt remind him that was the exhaust he was supposed to do. He told me to come back Wednesday the 8th and he would try to make the other exhaust fit onto my car. I came back Wednesday and he stated he couldnt do the job because the exhaust was too short in length. I had stated to him that I told him the exhaust was too short and had to be extended when I made the appointment. He proceeded to get mad and to start cussing at me. I told him I wanted a refund since he did a different job than I wanted, and completely forgot I had brought him an exhaust. He said that he would continue to try and make the exhaust fit for no charge. I told him I didnt want him to touch my vehicle anymore and I wanted a refund for doing the wrong job to my car. He told me hes not giving me money back for a job I approved, and that when he called me he told me what he was doing to the car. When he called me, he only asked if it was okay to start and not what he was doing to it. I stated it to him and he proceeded to stick his finger in my face and continue to get loud, so I left. Little over 3 years ago I went to Charlotte Harbor exhaust to fix my catalytic converters. They stole them welded a pipe from the headers of the car to the y pipe and welded in Nipples to screw in o2 Sensors to trick the car to not having a check engine light on. I paid over 300$ to have it be a BOLT ON SYSTEM not be welded on. They told me to come in to make it right but now are refusing to fix anything.Business response

WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 40 YEARS, WE ARE NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF STEALING CONVERTERS WE SELL AND INSTALL THEM AS WELL AS REPAIRING EXHAUST. **** ***** CAME TO OUR SHOP APPROXIMATELY A WEEK AGO AND WAS BAD MOUTHING OUR COMPANY ON OUR OWN PROPERTY AND I TOLD HIM TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY AND NEVER RETURN. HIS CAR IS AN 09 AND HE IS HAVING ISSUES THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH US AS WE REPAIRED IT 4 YEARS AGO.THE CUSTOMER IS UNREASONABLE AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO DEAL WITH HIM.
