This happened Oct 11, 2022. I hired them to clean my air duct after having to do Hurricane *** repairs. While the tech was in my attic he stepped thru my 14ft ceiling between two 6ft ceiling fans causing a 2x3ft hole and 5-6ft of tape to be ripped off. They wouldn't give me insurance information until after I paid them $2156, for a $200 service. They claimed I had mold in ac also but when tech showed my pics the mold ac and the clean ac he had personal pics in between. I called insurance company and they told me company was not insured in LA only in **, I immediately called company and they said they would fix it. 6 months, 3 rejected estimates sent to them and they will not longer answer my messages as of April 10th.

American Duct Cleaners were at my home on 11/13/22 to clean the supply vents of the house with our [their] advance negative air machinery, it will be connected to the main line a **** all the loss dust from the whole entire system, along with that annual maintenance service we will fully in your AC / furnace and Dryer as well, to make sure there is no mold or any other issues with the system. of my home. This was not done. I was also sold a ** light that doesn't turn on. Technician blamed his troubles installing the ** light & it not working on my generator. After a series of events trying to get the ** light to work. They attempted to pressure me into running an extension cord outside around my house for it to run. I said no. Tech asked if I could turn the generator off, I said I can reset it and see if that would resolve the issue. It falsely resolved the issue (** light will only run when generator is running. The tech spent a long time on the phone with his "office" trying to figure out how to install it. Talking loudly and even yelling at times in a different language. I have this on my security system. The videos are currently being translated. The tech also left a wire disconnected from my furnace causing me to lose heat. He again blamed this on my generator. I attempted to contact American Duct Cleaners about having no heat on 11.13.22 in the evening, but they did not respond. I had to call a real HVAC company to come out & fix my heat & had to pay them higher after-hours emergency rates. On top of all that (& much more unsaid) The American Duct Cleaners Tech asked if I wanted him to stay or leave when his work on my home was completed. I replied, no. We were having nice conversations and laughing so I assumed he was kidding. Later, he asked to take my photo or a selfie with me, repeatedly. I repeatedly said no. I didnt allow him to take my photo. It made me very uncomfortable. I've done a lot of research to learn American Duct Cleaners are scammers.

I've attached a word doc that outlines the entire ordeal. I uploaded the invoice and paid receipt with my initial complaint. I've attached them here as well. The companies business address is out of *******. However a search of 1 of the scammers phone numbers used to communicate with me is linked to a local TN address. I've attached this as well. Please let me know if you would like the documents I found from the fraudulent ******** page that this company is using to advertise business.
