I bought gun on line for $441.93 then went in to fill out paperwork after I paid for it got there gun store gave me check for $347.31 store Manager was screaming at me gun never left store or gun case then he claimed they charge 20% restocking fee an debit card fee then slammed phone down in my ear on there website it clearly states only if gun leaves store there 20% restocking feeBusiness response

In response to **************** complaint, she attempted to purchase a firearm from our store. She filled out a federal background check and was denied. She had a previous conviction from several years ago that she did not admit to on the background check. We gave her the option to appeal since she seemed like such a nice lady and held the gun for her during this time. ************ denied the appeal and admitted to us that she did have a previous charge that she omitted since it was quite some time ago. Our store policy is clearly posted on a 4' x 5' sign behind the registers, which states there will be a 20% restocking fee on ALL returns, whether it left the store or not. We have included a photo of that for your review. This policy is also stated on the sales receipt. ************ lied on a federal form, which is another felony in itself.Customer response

I am rejecting this response becauseIt does not mean they can keep my money weather I lied or not Manager was very rude it clearly states on there web site if gun leaves store there 20 percent restocking fee the gun never left the store they charged me more than 20, has nothing to do with background check which I passed 9 years ago also passed level 2 background check in fla worked with family's an kids so was kinda surprised I didn't pass background check that does not matter can't rob me an that's what this Manager an store tries to do

Hi bought a hand gun got a non approval i called 2 days later and I said just cancel the sale she said a 20% restocking fee this store is unbelievable also they charge 3% credit card fee so at the end of the day i gave them 440 bucks then 2 months later they mail me check for 340 i think their robbers and people should know itBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because: Hi I understand they want to rob people that should not have a weapon but i took conceal carry class through them and received my conceal carry license so i had all reasonable expectations that i would be approved to buy a firearm

Thank you for the review. The non-approval is between you and ******* ********** of *** Enforcement, we don't know your background history. You wasted our time thus the 20% and you didn't even follow the store policies board that is 4'x8' it clearly states all non-approvals must be appealed with FDLE. As far as the credit card fee we must compete with online sales and work on a very small margin we could no longer absorb the cost, as most business are starting to do. We appreciate all of our great customers and try to make everyone happy sorry it didn't work out for you hopefully you take the time to get your back ground cleared out.
