Just a word of wisdom to you all. We purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from ********************* Port Charlotte ***** and Volkswagen a couple years back, a 2018 VW Tiguan SE with 70k miles. We purchased the extended warranty package from the dealer for an additional 100k miles. I specifically asked to make sure it was for an additional 100k and not until vehicle reaches 100k and was assured that was correct.Fast forward to last week the vehicle now has 109k, and just began leaking oil. I took it in to service and was told the oil pan sensor is the cause of the leak and needs to be replaced at a cost of $800 to me. I told him I purchase the certified preowned warranty to which he told me it was only up to 100k miles. He said if I had any questions to talk to the finance guy who wrote the deal, but that he wasnt in. So I left angry and frustrated without getting the repair. I called later in the day to speak to someone in finance, and was given a voicemail. I left a detailed message, but as of the next afternoon I received no response. So I again called the next day (Friday), and was finally transferred to someone who I explained everything to. He advised he would check with the warranty company and call me back in a bit. Its now almost noon on Monday. I called and received the same voicemail in finance as I first did the other day. Still no call back! Car still needs repaired. Word of advice DO NOT PURCHASE the extended warranty at *********************! Very shady! I will not purchase from them again in the future!

We had our beetle scheduled for a maintenace check that was to be scheduled before Apri 25, 2022 or before the end mileage of 57,500. The paperwork was given to us by the Norm Reeves advisor & highlighted items to be taken care of were under the Maintenance Schedule for 40K along with a handwritten note reiterating the coverage VW CARE PLUS warranty. We have used Norm Reeves since we purchased the vehicle. This VW has a rebuilt title but has never been questioned when getting the yearly oil change or other maintenance that needed to be done. When taking the Beetle in for the scheduled maintenance...we were told the cost would be over $700. We asked why and was told it wasn't covered. This price included an oil change which did not need to be done five months later and just a little over 3000 miles on it since October. After questioning and extremely confused we went home and looked at the paperwork reiterating what we were told by the rep. My husband called and shared with the Supervisor exactly what was on our paperwork of our VW CARE PLUS warranty and what was highlighted for the 40,000 Maintenance. The Supervisor stated it wasn't covered as it was a totaled vehicle and stated that the advisor was learning when he gave us the paperwork for the maintenance. We are still confused on why this same vehicle with the same title was serviced under the warranty and now it is considered a totaled car.

Last call General Manager said he doesn't want my business. They replaced (or so they claim) my sensor $600 bucks. It still is malfunctioning and when I called the service manager Brian said I need my oil changed. The oil change light is not on. However the airbag they replaced (?) is flashing. About the worst customer service I've ever had.

Bought my vehicle brand new 2021. Dealership told me that due to my used experience with my used vehicle which they did help me with the new vehicle. The vehicle had a bad valve within the first month of me owning the vehicle. The dealership diagnosed it and addressed the issue. The following two month later I had an issue with my paint (both mirrors and front bumper). The clear coat on the mirrors were spotting up and the front bumpers paint had a bubble. The concern was told to the service advisor. The bumpers paint eventually with the weather conditions changing day to day worsened and chipped away. They sent the concerns to vw when the paint had chipped away with photos including the mirrors. Vw only cleared the mirrors for repair. Not the dealers fault that came from vw directly. The first time that the mirrors came back they were not put back in place, the drivers side BSM light was hanging out of place and there was residue from putting the mirror back on all over the door, and there were bubble and paint lines all over the vehicle. Dealer took it back and fixed it once I brought it to their attention. Get it back the second time and the plastic trim underneath was damaged due to burned in buffing liquid of some sort, not the dealers fault but it was not inspected upon return to the dealer from where it came from. The mirrors also weren't fixed upon return of the vehicle. Then the engine developed a slight hiccup after being driven for 10-15 minutes of the vehicle being ran, shut off, and started again. Dealer provided a rental and diagnose the vehicle to not be able to find anything with 0 engine codes available. I contacted Volkswagen group of America to see if they could help. They were unable to get the dealership to perform any sort of second diagnoses. Some time goes on and we go back and fourth about the way my vehicle is returned dirty every single time it's given back after service. There was no responsibility taken by the dealer other than an apology. I had to clean the marks and the vehicle myself. Then we got an (start/stop error) as well as a (rear view camera unavailable) error as well. The dealer took the vehicle in and diagnosed it as having bad fuel in the system when it was mid grade and came from a decent gas station. The vehicle was running rougher than normal. The tech cleared the code not fixing the issue. They told me that "it was a misfire upon startup". Said that "they were able to reproduce the problem more than three times". I was given a fuel additive that was in German and was told to insert the fluid myself on the next fill up and come back if the code re appears. I asked for documentation due to all the issues I have been running into. I was advised that the work did not need a repair order and that it wasn't something that needed to be documented. When talking with Volkswagen via phone and email. I was advised by Volkswagen Group Of America that the vehicle buyback was not approved due to no repairs being made on the vehicle with the service history copies I provided, even though the service department knows there is an issue and is unaware of any resolutions to apply to the vehicles current engine status. I then noticed marks all over the hood of the vehicle. The service manager submitted the marks and found more than I noticed originally and submitted it to Vw directly. Vw came back with a decision and advised the clearance for the hood to be painted. They did not like the condition of the vehicle when it came back so they sent it back to where the work was completed. The vehicle came back a second time. I came to pick the vehicle up due to a family emergency. The vehicle sat at the dealer for two days and no one looked over the vehicle. It was parked in the back with all the service coverings in it. I told them I understand that I'm taking it early but I had to fit family in the vehicle which I could not do with the loaner I was provided. I was told by the dealer to take the vehicle back to the place where it was completed if I was unhappy with the work that was done. I argued the fact that if I did not choose the paint shop or how the work was done. I should not be responsible for bringing the vehicle back and being without a vehicle due to the works man ship of the shop the dealer decided to go through. It should be the dealers responsibility to take care of the vehicle when sending it for body work. When I had picked the vehicle up and washed it, I noticed a huge mark on the rear left passenger door, resin all over the front bumper, and the interior right rear passenger doors window switch was broken with marks all over the interior door which I photographed and recorded the damage. When I brought it to the dealers attention I was told to contact the shop. Contacted the shop they said they did nothing in the interior dealer did not have a comment as to where the damage had came from. I left them fix the exterior for a third and final time. The shop was nice enough to buff the entire car. When getting my vehicle back the dealer like in the prior comments "fired me as a customer" due to them "not being able to make me happy as a customer" as stated through the service department. I don't feel wrong for wanting my new car fixed and returned in good if not great condition when getting it back after service. I took my vehicle to Ft Myers Volkswagen. They were concerned about the code being cleared and questioned why an R.O was not created for the engine mis fire. They were unable to help me fulfill my need to get the engine fixed due to the code being wiped from the computer onboard the vehicle with zero documentation as to why. When I contacted Volkswagen Group Of America about the appearance of the vehicle that has not been rectified it took over a week to hear anything back from them. They said the dealer has fixed everything to spec. I have detailed messages that have been sent to my case manager through VWGOA stating that those issues would be addressed at the third time painting the hood. It is still being looked into. Don't want to be a pain but it's a new car and I have had nothing but problems and being told we can't, there is no fix, sorry but. I have not gotten the big issue addressed. At this point I'm asking the dealer to buy the vehicle back and they will never have to hear from me again. We have bought multiple vehicles from this dealer all the way from 2005 till 2021. Both new and used Honda and Volkswagen. They are not a bad dealer to buy from however, always ask for documentation even when the vehicle goes in for the smallest issue. Always observe your vehicle when you leave and receive it.
