      Date of transaction was may 2021 deposit was given of $350.00 to Fred Krantz Gutters to install gutters at my Home and The gutters have not been installed. We filed a complaint with the better business bureau and Mr Krantz admitted that he had our money indicated that he would pay us and we have not been paid.

      On May 26,2021 We hired Krantz Gutters to replace my gutters on my manufactured home , Mr. Krantz issued a bill of $1400 dollars and requested a deposit of $350.00 It is now a year and 3 months and the gutters have not been installed. At first for 5 or 6 months we did not put pressure on him, because we were aware that the pandemic was holding up deliveries.. However the shipping problems have been resolved . Mr. Krantz has not made an attempt to communicate with us .. we have continued to call him and he told us that the shipment was in that he would have John his worker come by and start the Job, that was 2 months ago and we have not seen or heard from Mr. Krantz. I would appreciate my $350.00 deposit back . it was paid to him and he has not complied with his promise. We are senior citizens and We are on a budget. I don't want to cause Mr. Krantz any harm but if he does not return my Deposit We will complain to the District attorney. Thank you Kindly for your help.

Mr. Krantz has yet to refund our $350.00 deposit. He responded on 8/10/2022 to BBB complaint that he would refund our deposit but he has not contacted us. All he needs to do is give us our money back.

      Retained Krantz Gutters to replace and install gutters and downspouts on the rear 2nd story roof. We had a water settling and dripping problem over the exterior door entry overhang. Krantz Gutters proceeded with the job, which was interrupted by a sever rainstorm with lightning. The installer said he finished the job, but said its possible the sealant hadn't propersly dried and it could leak. Just call us to come back and well fix it, he said. We paid Krantz Gutters by check based on the installer representation that any issues would be resolved and they would come back. Subsequent close inspection of the work found that the gutters mounted on the exterior door overhang are lower than the roof line gutters - they were not raised or leveled to correct the original issue. The gutters leak at the seems, most likely due to what insufficeint time to dry prior. The leak at the overhang is now worse than before the work began. The work site was never cleaned of debris, tools, or materials

I have waited since August 26 for Krantz gutters to "have somebidy out there to take care of the situation quickly". Its been nearly a week and I have not had a phone call to schedule, or has anyone shown up. The leak and incorrectly installed gutters are at the top of a two story wooden stair case. This is a safety issue and is the very reason I had the service contracted out. We've waited yet another 10 days and still no call to schedule the work to resolve the incompleted work and continuing leak issues. This is just one more in a long series of excuses; however, make a call to Krantz from an unrecognized number and voice, and they're quite ready and prepared to take on new work. There is a simple solution - don't do any more jobs until you finish the ones you haven't finished. At this point, I have no faith the work wil ever be scheduled, much less completed by Krantz Gutters, and I have no choice but to have the work performed by someone else. I beleive an unfinsihed and incorrectly performed job does not deserve payment. Given the continued refusal of Krantz to complete the work, I now ask for a full refund of the amounts previously paid for this job.
