Rue and Ziffra were hired by me in 2019 for a workers compensation case. My case was prematurely closed in 2022 without all payments being completed. I have been pleading via repeated emails and phone calls for over 2 years to have the remaining payments adressed. As of todays date, ***** 23,2024, nothing has been done.I have a VERY long record of all of the promising emails and excuses received by *** and Ziffra employees, including the Office Manager available.I will accept a FULL refund.Business response

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised by our former client concerning the outstanding payments.
Regarding the specific details of the outstanding payment,for clarification, the payment being disputed pertain solely to mileage expenses. The claimants claim was settled by way of an Order dated 11/7/2022.It is important to note the settlement of a workers compensation claim is "with prejudice" effectively relieving the Employer/Carrier from further liability of additional payments of any kind.
In 2022, the mileage submitted by the claimant was initially provided on an improper form in an improper format, lacking the necessary fraud statement as required by law. Subsequently, on 9/30/2023, the claimant finally provided the correct mileage documentation, which was promptly submitted to the attorney representing the insurance company. The mileage totaled ****** miles at the agreed rate of 44.5 cents per mile, amounting to $446.96.
As a reputable and principled law firm committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, we take all matters related to our clients' interests seriously. Considering the insurance company's failure to respond or reimburse the outstanding mileage, we are prepared to to pay the remaining balance of $446.96 directly to the claimant.

I am rejecting this response because:
This response was exactly what I expected from this law firm, no accountability.Rue and Ziffra closed my case prematurely before all payments were received. I have spent two years begging for their help, and now I am forced to seek help outside of their firm.
Rue and Ziffra were hired to complete a job and failed.
I will file a formal complaint with the Florida BAR.
