My husband and I moved to our community in 2019. Since then we had to call to get our AC repaired 4 times within the last 3yrs. The unit was placed in 2018 which means its fairly new. Now our AC doesn't work and we were told it is the AC coil that needs to be replaced. The AC coil is within the warranty which we were reminded that it'll end next year but we have to pay for labor which is over $800. The repair man placed some cooling which we were told it'll last. Guess what it didn't our house is currently an oven. Now the company calls us to let us know the coil will not be in for another 2 to 3 weeks and because the AC is not working properly we were told to shut the unit before another part gets damage. So now my family has to suffer in this heat until the coil comes in. If we want the repair man to return and put in more cooling we will be charge $91 every time. When I complained about how is this possible given the fact that this is a fairly new unit their reply was they put what the builders tells them, however, if this company is so good then any equipment they place in any home should live up to their standards. Not everyone can pay top of the line products. This company is ridiculous I'm so disappointed on their customer service and their products. Find a better company when it comes to AC. Trust me if we had the money we would gut this one and have a different company place a new AC. Now we wait in the Florida heat until we get the part. I have children and two dogs living in this heat. The company doesn't compensate or find a temporary solution everything is about money. I wonder if I call the City to let them know what's going on what will happen.

Mrs. ******* we apologize for this inconvenience. It is awful that you are without AC and we are doing the best we can to get your coil expedited. We recommend you reach out to the manufacturer's customer service line to see if you can get the coil faster. Unfortunately, this is the age we live in where parts are not always available. We attempted to give you cooling by putting refrigerant in, however we cannot continue to add refrigerant that will just leak out into the environment. We will continue to be persistent on getting this part for you, however the number for the manufacture is X-XXX-XXX-XXXX


In addition, we have reviewed your account history and did not see that we were out 4 times for service. We do have a record of helping you with a locked-out Thermostat, replacement thermostat and a drain line. We do not show a record of any routine maintenance completed on your system and highly recommend you have this completed annually. Parts do fail from time to time and we do not manufacture them. We apologize for any inconvenience and strive to do the best we can. Hopefully the manufacturer will expedite the part so we can install it immediately. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We had A new AC complete unit installed by Progressive and were ver pleased with Shirley who did all the installation herself . Shirley was very knowledgeable very neat and took her work very seriously. After completing the work she took the time to instruct us on how to operate the new system and thermostat from our I phone and I pad

Progressive was chosen by my homes builder to install the carrier AC (which was half the size it should've been based on sq ft). They did an appalling job with parts beginning to fail in the first year (thankfully DR Horton warranty covered). Now 1.5 years old the system has suffered catastrophic failure requiring a repair that costs almost $900 in labor alone AFTER manufacturer warranty on parts. One of the most reputable local companies had their owner and president sign a letter stating the problems were caused by improper installation. Progressive refuses to stand behind it's work. Meanwhile my 8 month old pregnant wife is at home with temperatures exceeding 83 daily until replacement parts arrive. Completely unacceptable. Will never even consider using them for even the most trivial task again.

Mr. ********** it is unfortunate that your system failed. We do not make the parts nor to we manufacturer the system. We installed your part correctly and if we had not, you would have been aware of this right away as it would not have worked at all. Our Technicians are Factory Trained professionals and do the best they can to assist our customers.

At the time of install, your system was sized using a 3rd party software program mandated by the state of Florida based on the specs your builder provided us. In addition, your home passed the inspections by the builder and the county, therefore your system was sized correctly and installed properly.

You had another HVAC Company service your system this year and did not give us an opportunity to review and address your concerns. We do not accept other HVAC Company's diagnosis as we have our own Factory Trained Technicians. Our company has been in business for over 36 years and we strive to provide the best service possible to our customers. We will not pay for work rendered by others when we are not at fault and we did not have an opportunity to rectify a solution for you with our experienced team.

I did give you the opportunity it to review and make it right however I was immediately laughed at and treated in a very disrespectful manner by the people on the phone with your company. There is a reason nobody in the neighborhood uses you for their service once the builder warranty expires.
