      I stayed at this facility 12/4/23 and checked out 12/5/23. About 5 am in the morning I was awakened by the sound of filthy toilet and bath water leaking into the room. By the time I got up and dressed the entire bathroom floor was covered with sewage water. I had a long day the day before and wanted to sleep in and shower, but due to this issue I had to get up immediately. fortunately, I was able to gather all my belongings before they got ruined from the water and thank god I didn't get sick from being exposed to dirty water. I went to the office and let the woman in charge know what happened and requested a manager contact me to rectify the situation. No one contacted me that day, so I ended up contacting ******* and I filed a complaint REF# ******** and later the next day I was contacted from the actual hotel I stayed at by who I believe was the manager. She asked what I wanted and I told her I wanted them to just make it right. I was offered a 20% discount which I felt was an insult, especially when she mentioned they only usually give a 10% discount. 20% of a $85 bill is only $17. So you offer me a $68 stay for a horrible experience and think that is going to make it right. Im filing this complaint to let others know the conditions of the facility and the culture of the establishment. They are not focused on providing a good experience and stay to the customer. Management here is only concerned with making a quick buck regardless of the condition of the facility and the customer experience.

      Good Afternoon,

      Unfortunately it happened early in the morning. ***** came to the desk to let the employee know what was going on. Our maintenace took care of the issue as soon as he came into work at 8:00 A.M. We did try to offer 20% off which the guest declined. The leak was in the vent over the toilet, not in the shower. It was from the tub which is clean water. Guest above got a lot of water on the floor, making it leak into room 103 from the vent. Here at the Days Inn we make sure that every guest is safe and rooms are taking care of if any issues arise. We can offer the guest 50% off of the room. Please feel free to contact us at **************. Thank you for your time and we are very sorry for the issues the guest had to deal with.
