NO STARS FROM US! I want to share my frustrating experience with Big Boys Moving & Storage (also known as Florida Main Movers) regarding our move on September 13th. Despite the short distance of less than 4 miles, we encountered significant issues that deviated from what was promised before we signed the contract. Initially, we spoke with Ruby, who provided us with different estimates for the total cost, which is why we chose to use their services. However, on the day of the move, Susan was unaware of the agreed amount and made the payment process unnecessarily difficult. We ultimately felt compelled to pay the amount they demanded, as they refused to unload our belongings until payment was made. They even charged us for travel time, despite it being before 9 a.m. when there was heavy traffic. While the movers started off well, the quality of service deteriorated after an unpleasant interaction with their manager over speakerphone. We faced numerous problems, including: -Plastic wrap left around nightstands, a chest, and a jewelry cabinet. -Incorrect installation of our bed frame, with loose and unscrewed wood boards that we had to fix ourselves. -Scratches on our daughter’s bedroom set, and a trundle bed that was improperly placed under her bed. We have photographs documenting these issues. Our last email to the company was on September 25th, and we have yet to receive any response. Michael B**** has not responded or sent the final invoice, which adds to our frustration. Their communication has been lacking, and it has only made matters worse. Given this entire experience, they do not deserve even a single star. Overall, this experience has been deeply disappointing, and I cannot recommend this company based on our experience. I hope others can learn from our situation.

Im sorry that there is still some confusion regarding your move rate and the procedure for filing a damage claim. Please know that your sales representative, the office manager, the crew supervisor, your moving team, and I all made efforts to explain both the rate and the procedures to you, both verbally and in writing. You also signed documents at the time of scheduling and upon the movers' arrival, confirming your understanding of these details. We strive to ensure that all of our customers have a clear understanding of our process. However, our insurance partner does not accept damage claims filed weeks after the move date. If you would like further clarification, Im more than happy to discuss the rate and procedures with you as many times as needed. ZERO stars. I showed them everything that was going. I was given a quote verbally. Then I didn't receive the contract until the morning of. Chad asked me several times if I was taking both of my couches. I told him I was during the quote. Then halfway through the move he said they can't fit everything so they can make two trips. This would have been beyond what I was quoted. The way they moved some of my couch pieces was questionable. When I asked Chad said oh this is nothing you should see some stuff we do. Fast forward they unload my belongs & I notice that my upright piano is on its side. I said something, Chad's response was you signed a contract. I came out to pay & he said he already charged my card plus 4% fee for using a card. He never asked or confirmed how I was paying. They knew I was paying cash. He made a call & said it would be cancelled. I paid them cash to be done & move on. The following day I called & spoke with Ruby to explain my disappointment for not moving all of my belongings & that my bank was overdrawn because they charged my card. She said she'd call me back. Several hours later I texted her for an update. Their solution was to charge me over $300 to complete the move. Then Saturday I texted a screenshot of my bank account showing their pending charge & my negative account. Never heard back. I started a load of laundry Sunday only to discover they broke something on my washer. I texted & called with no response. I went to social media & made a post that they were tagged in. I saw I had a missed called from them, I called them back. When they answered they went straight to cussing me out, calling me names, & threatened me. I informed them that the call was being recorded & they didn't care. I immediately called the local Sheriff's office & made an incident report. I woke up today, Tuesday, & their charge went through. They didn't cancel anything. I've made Ruby aware my card has been charged. I have reported fraud to my bank.Florida Main Movers

Dear ******: I am posting the same response to all of your other reviews on all of the other sites: I wanted to personally address the concerns youve raised regarding the damage to your desks. First and foremost, I want to extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this situation has caused. We understand how crucial these desks are for your childrens studies, especially with their high school assignments and college preparations. We realize you were hoping for a same-day repair, and while we strive to meet our clients' expectations, such a turnaround is not always feasible. As you selected the basic insurance coverage, which values items at sixty cents per pound, we opted to repair the desks rather than declare them a total loss. This decision was made in the interest of providing the best possible service under the circumstances.
We also noted that you posted pictures of the desks in their damaged state rather than after the repairs. We believe that showing the repaired condition of the desks would offer a more accurate representation of the outcome.
Regarding the rainwater that affected some of your items, we deeply regret this issue. Unfortunately, weather conditions are beyond our control, but we did take precautions by shrink-wrapping and padding the items to minimize any damage. We are genuinely disappointed that your experience with our company did not meet your expectations. They did a great job for us. We had a complex office move that need to be completed within a time frame and they did an amazing job with keeping it within the timeframe so our store could be open promptly after our move was completed. Highly recommend Florida Main movers.Florida Main Movers

Beware of Deceptive Practices: A Disappointing Experience with a Local Moving Company.My recent encounter with this local moving company to relocate a delivered grill from my driveway to the lanai, left me deeply dissatisfied and disillusioned. What began as a straightforward arrangement quickly devolved into a frustrating ordeal characterized by a misleading quote and unexpected charges. **** emailed a quote to e-sign. It was very small print and blurry. What stood out was the bold red print amounts that stated This rate is $129. per hour with just a 2-hour minimum. The total cost for a 2 hour move at this rate is only $258". NO hidden fees. I did not catch the small print afterwards that said + travel to and from. I gave a $100 deposit via my credit card. The quote provided failed to accurately reflect the final price I was confronted with upon the movers' arrival. The mover gave me papers and said I had to sign them before he started. The mover told me he could lose his job if I did not sign the paper. The paper stated 3 hours billed with a cost of $387 + a bolded & highlighted 10% mandatory service fee tip and a 4% fee for using a credit card. The 2nd full page was marred with multiple bolded statements i.e. NO refunds, I agree any/all amounts, will not dispute any fees etc. When I questioned the charges, the mover called the company. **** immediately called me forcefully repeatedly informed me that she had given me a detailed quote. She stated her supervisor had already put the charge through on our credit card. To my dismay, I was blindsided by additional fees and surcharges that had not been disclosed beforehand, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of. Considering my disappointing experience, I feel compelled to caution others against using this moving company. The lack of integrity demonstrated in their dealings is cause for concern, and prospective customers would be wise to exercise caution before engaging their services.Florida Main Movers

1 starPut simply..Do NOT hire! Missing lamps, damaged high end furniture.never called back about repairs. Worst movers I have ever used! Movers did push *** challenges in my home the day of move. Most unprofessional people to work with! Nightmare!
