Mavit stone is a family owned company. I hired them for a few jobs and will continue giving them all my Home Remodeling projects. Being in the construction industry it is hard to find a reliable company like Mavit to back all of their work and guarantee the quality of all installations.Review from Thomas C

I have worked with Mavit Stone Services on several projects and they have always delivered quality and timely work! After successful referrals to clients, I had them design and install a custom granite countertop in my home with translucent LED lights and it was one of a kind!! Its the first thing people compliment when they step in my home. On top of that, they are a family business, and everyone has a role, which I love to see. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an interior remodel.Review from Marcela R

Mavit Stone is a family operated business in our community and I recommend them and would hire them again if more work is needed. They specialize in countertops, cabinetry, and flooring. It's always a great sign when a company communicates well with its customers, and it's even better when they are thorough with quality checks to ensure that everything is done to a high standard. The fact that they called me a week later to check in and make sure everything was fine is a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction.It's also impressive that Mavit demonstrated a high level of professionalism, communication, and quality. These are all important qualities to look for in any company, and Mavit exceeded ALL expectations in all of these areas.Lastly, I would like to mention one thing that is very important for me personally is honestly and transparency and thats what they were with me from the beginning and I could not be thankful for all the hard work.Overall, I am very pleased with the work done by Mavit, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of their services.Review from Matt A

In my opinion the workmanship of MAVIT STONE is SUBPAR at best. They just completed a project in my Valencia Grove home in PSL. To add insult to injury I was treated unfairly, as I was promised things on a handshake that were not done because they never wrote them in the contract even though they said they would do the work on a handshake. In Florida a handshake is binding! I would NOT recommend them based upon my experience because of the poor quality of work and aggravation they put me through to get the the work agreed upon finished. Buyer Beware

************************ hired us to install flooring (around **** sq ft), install baseboards, install kitchen cabinets, and install kitchen countertops. Our invoice stated just that, we had all the flooring done within a week, cabinets and countertops the following we and smooth flowing 3-weeks into the project will adjustments and corrections to be made. *********************** asked us if we could install some cabinets in the laundry and garage and install appliances. We are capable of doing those things but they werent in our invoice. When I mentioned that to ************************, he flippd and said it should all be included... how could I possible just included, kitchen plumbing, laundry plumbing, appliance installation, washer dryer installation and more at no charge? makes no sense. On top of that, our signed invoice says any item not listed is subject to additional cost, as well as we are not responsible for appliance installation. Not sure of many people that would do all the work we did in the timely manner that we did. We have a great reputation inside ***********************/Grove with many reputable referrals.Customer Response

That's your version. You agreed to do those things and you reneged. Can't count on your word,it's worthless. The shelving in the pantry is short and the shelves fell down. The kickplate under the kitchen cabinets weren't fastened and were cheap thin substandard facing that you could snap in half. You hung cabinets in the golf cart garage that you said you would hang in the laundry room and then you agreed to move them to the laundry room and then you refused to do even that. All materials other than the granite were of low quality. Handles on the cabinets were crooked. Draws were misaligned. Crown molding had to be done twice and is still unacceptable. Handshake agreement is binding in ******* for your information! How can you possibly NOT include what you agreed to include???? Not only does that not make sense it indicates that you won't stand up for what's right, you're not transparent and you don't own up to your mistakes. I don't know about your reputation; all I know is that I would never hire you again or recommend your company to my worst enemy!Customer Response

On Aug. 23,2021 I contracted with Mavit Stone, in Port Saint Lucie, Fl, to replace the countertops in my bathrooms and my kitchen.
On Sept. 3rd the workers installed the countertops and removed the old backsplash. The backsplash area was left in the condition you see in the pictures for an entire week. I was told at that time it would take two weeks to install the new backsplash. While installing the new sinks in my bathroom the workers used my brand new towels to absorb the dripping water. They never asked for a rag.
On Sept. 10th a worker came and I showed him the stains that accumulated in the stone (you can clearly see them in the pictures) he explained the stone was porous and he will be back with a sealant. He never returned. When I informed the receptionist about the stains she stated it was not their problem. While he was here the worker patched the backsplash area and removed the microwave. He did such a poor job that when another worker came on Sept. 13th he couldn't do his job. He left after five minutes and said ****** would call. ****** never did. I called on the 14th and another worker was sent to correct the poor job of the first worker.
The backsplash was finally installed over three days, Sept. 15-17th. The workers came after work hours and stayed until 8:00 PM. On Sept. 17th I called to inquire as to when the microwave would be put back up. I was told I would get a call back. It is now a new week and I have not received a call and my microwave continues to sit on my counter.
For this I paid $13,444.50. I am completely disgusted with this company's inability or refusal to acknowledge, accept, and correct problems when they arose. The receptionist/office manager was all attitude whenever I called. I will never use this company again. You should think twice about contracting with them.
