Unfortunately, One Star is the lowest to enter. Hired this company to clean the dryer exhaust pipe in a house we purchased. The dryer wasnt even installed, so it was a simple job. Couple of months later Im in the attic doing electrical work and see a coating of lint all over the area near the roof exhaust hood in the attic. There was a 3 inch gap between the vent pipe and the roof penetration into the roof hood vent. As I was already a hot sweaty mess, I sealed it with some metallized vent tape. Called the company to inform them and the excuses started, calling it the builders fault. I said fine but it should have been caught and I should have been advised. When asked if I wanted someone to look at it, I said it was already fixed, thank you. Another month later a load of clothes came out still damp. Went into the attic again, took it apart and removed wads of lint that were plastered onto the grid inside the roof hood vent. Called again to inform them and was told the grid was removed according to the work ticket. I replied, no the grid is definitely still there. Was told I would receive a refund, but they have dodged their promise and refuse to take responsibility for a dangerous condition that could have led to an attic fire. All communications with them have been fruitless.
