Transaction date: 9/23/2023 - ************************* was the HV** technician sent by Select Home Warranty to fix my HV**. After he inspect the ***** he claim the unit was too old and the part are not longer available for replacement. He put together a proposal for new Air handler and condenser and told me Select Home Warranty will covered a portion of the work within 30 dates after submit the paperwork from him. So I paid him $5625.00 for the work. In March 2024 (less than 6 months), the air handler in the garage start to leak and my tenant ***** and ***** has been in contact with ****** and he told them he was going to return back to the property to take a look. He finally show up April 10, 2024 after I reach out to him about the issue. My property manager met up with him. ************************* claim he drain the line and the ** works. The minute the ** is turn on, it leaks again. A brand new unit less than one year should not leak . I have pictures showing the damages it did in the garage. I got in contact with another HV** and he claim in the attic, inspect the condenser and air handler, the two items are not compatible. The 3 ton condenser was blowing too much air and damaged all the ducts and grille in the attic. All these needs to be replaced along with a new and compatible condenser and air handler. The electrical wire needs to be fixed per electrical code for PSL.What ************************* did is unprofessional and unethical. He charge me for a new installation and gave me a defective old unit. I have to hire new professional to re-do all the work with a permit.Per his invoice, the unit is suppose has 2 years warranty and I demand a full refund for the defective HV** unit.Business response

This is ************************* of International Engineering, this claim is false it was a clogged drain line which was unclogged *********************** Refused to pay for a permit for the work and Tennants are my Witness because they told me they we leaving and the Property Manager, Realtor had Handymen Sabotage the work per my invoice and Pictures and Text messages I did nothing wrong ************ is bad Landlord and wants to get over on good Contractors Ive been in Business for 20plus years and my customers know Iam fair and Honest. I am rejecting this response because:1. The tenant is moving out because their lease is up and they are expecting a baby and they need a bigger space. The tenant has also been complaining about the leak to *************************. They can be a witness to the case if need be.
2. There is no reason for me not pay a required permit if it's necessary to perform the work by PSL county. A permit is $150.00 in PSL county. A complaint has also been filed with PSL building regarding *************************. He is suppose to be the professional as a contractor, he should understand it's illegal to replace the **** without a permit. Case #*****
3. A complaint has also been filed against ************************* with Florida DBPR's license for shady work and doing bake and switch. I paid for a brand new **** unit. He replace it with a 2013 condenser and a 2023 air handler of 3 ton which is not compatible in the house. The duct work for the house only supports a 2-ton unit. My old HAVC is a 2-ton. This cause all the duct to burn because it's blowing too much air. The 2013 condenser ************************* installed is defective, missing cooling fin and probably something he pick up from another job. Complaint Id: *****************
4. My property manager met up with ************************* on Wednesday , April 10, 2024. It was still leaking after he drain the condenser. It's a defective old 2013 condenser.
5. ************************* has avoid my calls and has not respond to my text message since April 10, 2024.
6. The replacement of **** for a brand new unit should be under equipment and labor warranty, ************************* is not honoring his policy and warranty.
7. ************************* should provide full refund plus damage. He should provide his insurance company information so I can file a claim for the damages he cause in the property.

Attached are
1. Old Condenser(2013, NOT 2023 that I paid) - 3 tons and not the 2 ton that the duct in the house supports
2. Air Handler (2023 unit with no name manufacture and not compatible to condenser)
3. Condenser by the side of house showing damage and missing cooling fins.
4. Ceiling damage from ************************* doing the thermostat wiring.

********************* are False this job was done in September of last year she knew everything that was done because she approved it and paid for the job except the extra work that she wanted to do later on ; there was no Tune up on the System this Spring that led to a condensation leak ; I explained to her the Air Handler unit is Trane Run Tru Series its on the model and Serial number and the Heat Pump is is a updated refurbished R-410 unit which matches is compatible to the Air Handler unit; The Return stand had prior Damage due to normal wear and Tear plus age but is Stable to hold Air Handler Unit safely and she has a High end Trane WiFi Thermostat installed as well . She is upset over warranty but the system is cooling fine and to many of her personal or unlicensed Professionals were damaging my work, lying on my work and complaining to her because she is ************* and not at the rental property, in November I did a maintenance Service on one their other properties Her Husband **** came down and meet with me and he said I did a great job on the Installation in September and Thanked me . So this claim is Personal to ************ not Business, thank You ***********;Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: The **** unit is not working. It destroyed all the duct and grill for the ****. Air Handler (2023) and Condenser (2013) are not compatible. I paid for a brand-new air handler and condenser, not a 10 years old 3-ton condenser with no life left.***************************** still did not answer the questions as to why as a professional **** guy, 1. Why he didn't pull a permit for his work when it's required by PSL license department and it's illegal. 2. Why he charges for a 2023 condenser and installed an old 2013 condenser 3. The air handler was leaking when he was at the property to look at it on April 10, 2024, and he just walk away. He refused to honor and stand behind his work.
***************************** does shady work and should have his license in ******************** be revoked, He should provide full refund for what I paid plus damages. He should provide his insurance information so a claim can be submitted to his insurance company for all the damages.
A person like ************************* who is irresponsible and poor business practice and act to con consumer should be red flagged.

I am rejecting this response because: Please all customers out there, BE AWARE of *********************** ***************. He is a con artist and does shady work. He does not follow the law for the county to pull a permit. That's illegal practice not pulling a permit. On the invoice, it stated warranty, but he would not honor it. If you read this, please note to yourself and WARN all your family, friends, neighbors or anyone you know about this. He can possibly use a different business name to deceive his practice. Be very CAREFUL and BE AWARE of this *********************** ****************No one would complain about an honest company/individual doing honest work.
If you need to verification and confirmation about permits and licenses, you can contact ********************, ********************* for permit, Florida DBPR.
It's unformats for me *********************** *************** was sent from home warranty company and the warranty company didn't do proper background and verification.
