On 9/3/21 immediately upon noticing water leakage & fire alarms going off, I once again called Mr. Solis and text him. I politely requested Mr. Solis to promptly schedule his work men or himself to return to my home since the leak repaired on April 17, 2021 occurred again at the exact same place. There was significant water on the floor from the same opening in the ceiling at/and through the fire alarm apparatus. This leak on 9/3/21 again set off all the ceiling fire alarms as in April 2021 - and the Boynton Fire Dept came once again to assist. They filed reports upon both visits. Mr. Solis refused to schedule a return to my home to check the water damage. He said that it wasn't his job to do. Mr. Solis did not honor his warranty. We had to spend an additional $2500.00 to have another roofing company correct the leak. I'm out of pocket $3350.00 in all.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/01) */ Yes, mam we did a roof vent replacement for you, which you agreed to pay $950.00 and you ended it paying only 850.00, we have pictures that the roof vent was completely sealed and was properly done. If you have damages I assure you it wasn't from the vent we installed, this went to far already, you need to prove that the leak came from that specific vent, you don't just wake up one day and say that was ***** Roofing repair, no mam, we are opening an investigation to get to the bottom of this, someone we'll reach out to you from our legal department to visit your property. The September 2021 water leakage was in the exact same location as the initial April leak. Declaring it wasn't his job to check his prior workmanship is absurd. Mr. ***** was hired to repair a leak- he chooses to call it a Vent repair; he didn't repair the leak as we had to call another contractor to do the required work. The Fire Dept. will confirm the water leak/ damage was in the exact same place on both occasions. __Mrs. Adrienne ***** Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/10/18) */ Yes, it was a roof vent replacement don't you remember when you called the supplier ABC because you were complaining for the way the vent was made like they made the vents, mam if your leak was not coming from the vent don't waste my time, I have someone from our legal department scheduled to call you by the end of this week and he'll be taking pictures and all the documentation needed if this has nothing to do with the roof vent we'll be filing the case in court, we have our lawyers ready and they are aware of your allegations You'll be hearing from us soon. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2021/10/25) */ Adrienne ***** 1:35 PM (2 minutes ago) to me This email is our response to Mr. *****'s latest submission. *****'s employees went on the roof - After having seen the water on the hall floor outside the guest room bathroom. His employees declared it to be a problem with the gooseneck & said it needed to be replaced. His invoice #1585 states Tile Roof Repair .This invoice is attached to the original claim we filed with BBB. His employees fixed what they believed was causing the leak onto the hallway floor.The very same issue occurred with a leak in September in the exact location as before & the fire department noted that. His employees said in April the leak was fixed with the installation of the gooseneck. Mr. ***** did not honor the warranty - by refusing to schedule a visit to my home . Mrs. Adrienne ***** 10/25/21 Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2021/10/26) */ Mrs. *****, I've attached pictures of the roof vent replacement we did, as you see everything was sealed and completed as per the BC specifications, is impossible that you will get a leak thru that area, if you had a leak in a different area and you hire someone else to do the repair that's completely fine with us, just don't complicate things, you took pictures of our truck because you were planning all this, I'm sorry but I will not pay for something that's not have anything to do with the repair we did. Mr. ***** was asked to visit my home and check out the latest 9/21 leak which was in The Exact Same Location as the April 2021 Leak. Therefore I find Mr.*****'s response unsatisfactory. ***** must honor it's written assurances and pay for its Breach of the warranty. See our complaint . BBB should take whatever steps are necessary in these circumstances .
