Back on July 6, 2023 an *** salesperson showed up to my home and advised that they could offer me a security system at a lower rate since they saw the *** sign outside and that the previous owner had the system previously. I was told that the system had to be activated in my sister's name since she showed as the owner although the home was mine. Without carefully thinking this through I agreed and had the system activated in her name. Since the home was mine I advised the bill was to go to me in which I was billed $64.19 on 7/6/23. After thinking it over I decided to contact *** to have the account changed under my name. *** advised they could do this but would need to send someone out. Another *** rep came to my home on 7/31/2023 at which time he informed me that he would need to bill me $54.00 and would cancel the account originally opened in my sister's name. On 8/5/23 I was billed an additional $64.19 for the original account that was supposed to be canceled. When I contacted *** regarding this after being on hold for 2 hours they advised they only showed a charge of the $54. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the rep said please hold then hung up. I called back 2 additional times and with each they still insisted they did not show any charges to my account of $64.19.
