I would rather *** in route to another hospital than go to this hospital. Avoid this place. Multiple issues from lack of staff, parking, dietary, cleanliness, no communication between departments. Lack of compassion. And no one at front desk, zero security you are free to go anywhere in hospital no questions asked or anyone even acknowledging you as you walk through the halls. When I addressed these issues with the hospital they blamed me for being upset with these issues and did nothing about it. with the exception of block my social media accounts so people couldn't see the review that was written.

I am 63 years old and last December 18th I fell and broke my femur very bad, broke from my hip joint and split to my knee. The ambulance took me to ShorePoint not by choose, I am new to the area, so I got the most horrible experience from this hospital from the get-go. I was tossed around from the employees in ER to X-ray not treated gingerly in any form. It didn't change on the floor or when I was taken to the OR by nurses. I was kept for an extra day because the nurses were not monitoring my food intake that I needed for pain killers, so in turn I was nauseated constantly and kept me another 24hours which was uncalled for I could have been home and been taken care of by my husband and good care!! I also had to endure a patient in the next room who was hooked up to a monitor of him getting out of bed, so instead of going to this patient's room they SCREAMED at him to get back in bed!!! I could go on and on about this. I just would expect more than a letter from their patient advocate, (LOL) That wrote me that they appreciate me pointing out all this and it will help but no comp for it??? They are a business and should be accountable for their services like any other. I would like for them to forgive this so-called balance of what my insurance didn't cover, which I don't know what they even charged never got an itemized bill. I pay highly for insurance and if they pay what they feel is right then that is what they need to accept because their services were the worst I have ever encountered My balance is in collection, and I do NOT have the money to pay this. I just came back to work and have to make up for my company paying my insurance while I was out. This is why our insurance is so high, gouging patients and give subpar care. I have more complaints not enough room in this to give it all. NEED MORE CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS NOT FOR THE MONEY THEY CAN GET FROM THEM. Why am I getting charged and I should've been home 24 hours prior to when I did.

My 89 year old mother was admitted to the ER for what she felt were Heart Pains. They got her in the ER, took blood work, tests, etc. Didn't know if she would be admitted or not. We were getting answers to the blood work and the tests to find out she had two infections that were able to be taken care of through medication. I was able to openly talk to the hospital Physician about what they were finding. A few of the nurses were a different story. My mom has been in the hospital for 3 days. She cannot walk on her own. MUST HAVE ASSISTANCE. She tires very easily. She was given an Echo Cardiogram as they suspect something is wrong with her heart. A possible heart murmur. Test was done at 11am. At 3pm we still had NO RESULTS! I asked the nurse assigned to her several times to check her chart to see if there were any updates. They had nothing. What upset me the most....I asked her nurse to come in an ASSIST ME to put on disposable underwear along with the catheter. The nurse seemed out of her comfort zone. Acted like she had never done this before! I could not believe that I knew more about getting underwear on my mom than a nurse! I had to lift my moms legs up to get the underwear on her hips. Not two nurses, one nurse and myself. My mom has been laying in a bed for 3 solid days. Never have they assisted her into a chair! Her legs that she has issues with are sooooo sore that I have to spray BIOFREEZE on them 2 to three times a day. She can't sleep, they gave her a hospital grade tylenol and benadryl as a sleeping solution. She slept 1 hour!! No one asks if she wants to get out of bed to sit in a chair! She is very uncomfortable and has stated several times she just wants to die which makes me soooo mad I want to choke the medical profession. This hospital needs MORE Personnel, and Personnel that CARE about PATIENT CARE!!!

To investigate this further we would need the patient account number or the patients name and date of birth.
