Contract signed February 7, 2021. Pool was supposed to be constructed summer 2021. Not complete as of October 17, 2022. Flamingo pools fired. Very poor communication. Numerous phone calls and text messages not returned for days, if at all. When they were returned, often the information given was not true. Numerous misrepresentations about start dates for 9 months. Didn't start until February 3, 2022. Flamingo hired someone to dig the hole and didn't pay them that resulted in a lien placed on my house. As of October 17, 2022, no pump, no heater, no interior finish, plumbing, wiring, and water features not complete.Overcharged contracted amount for screen cage by $3,500. No 60 foot clear view opening as in quote but I was still charged for it.Screen cage failed *** County inspection 9/26/22, collapsed 9/28/22. No other cage on my street collapsed.The construction delay resulted in higher price for pavers due to March 2022 price increase. Instructed by ********************* to pay vendor directly for pavers and a credit would follow. I was supposed to get a paver credit for $3,000, didn't happen. Overcharged on pavers by $4,962 ($3,000 credit plus $1,962 higher cost of pavers because the pool was not completed in the agreed upon time frame.Drainage for pool deck not cut in. Flooding caused sand to wash out and pavers to be displaced and will need to be removed and reinstalled.Pads at pool exit doors not connected to deck and are now 6 inches away, leaving a gap. Will need to be moved.Outdoor kitchen could not be installed until pool construction was complete and lanai pavers replaced. During the delay of over one year caused by Flamingo pools installed price of outdoor kitchen increased by $6,462.67 Partial total of costs resulting from delays caused directly by ********************* and Flamingo pools failure to perform include, but are not limited, to: $14,924.67Initial Complaint

Hello, Flamingo Pool & Spa used to be my pool service and, since mid February 2022, have not returned any of my calls or emails regarding their service & billing. they charged my credit card on April 12th and May 1st $140 for 'monthly pool cleaning'. I have a new service that started so they keep charging my card without authorization. I have filed fraud reports with Chase on 2 occasions. They may be out of business but if they are, they should stop all auto-charges on customer's credit cards. Terrible business acumen. I will continue to decline CC payments but they are MIA. please help if you can!!Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/05/31) */ I spoke with Mr. ***** ****** today and also followed up with an email. I explained that my office manager took a leave of absence and although I had new staff trained before her departure, the new employee had a personal issue arise and was unable to fulfill her commitment to working. It's been very difficult retaining employees these last 2 months, however, I do have solid staff now. I let Mr. ****** know that the credit card charges have been reversed and his account has been made inactive. All memorized transactions and automatic billing have also been deleted. There will be no further billing problems for Mr. ******.
