Iam ************************* the *** for ******************************. Ambitrans Has multiple time in 1 month sent payment demand letters to me. Each and every time the insurance company BCBS has told them it was being handled by them and to leave us alone, we are not responsible for this bill. Repeatedly employees of this company ***** in Billing ******** her supervisor and a woman in *************** Have not listened and keep sending letters 6 times in one month. This is harrassment.Business response

This letter is in response to your BBB Complaint. We appreciate the time you have taken to share your thoughts. We do not comment upon nor acknowledge the identity of any of our patients. We are happy to discuss accounts and complaints with our patients directly. Alternatively, we can discuss accounts with a patient's authorized representative so long as we are provided the appropriate documentation (POA documents, etc.). If a patient would like us to respond to BBB, then the patient must execute a HIPAA compliant authorization for the release of patient information pursuant to 45 CFR *******.Initial Complaint

On November 23, 2022 AMBITRANS was hired to transport me from Shoreline *********** to Shoreline ************** for surgery. I was told I could not transport myself because AMBITRANS would also be transporting my complete medical records. When they got me to **************, they did so without my paperwork. This resulted in my not receiving treatment until my medical records could be located. My network liaison had to take my case all the way up the line to the Doctor **** of Staff in order for me to receive treatment. They delayed me in over 4 hours. That's 4 hours with no meds of any kind and an IV hanging unattached to anything hanging out of my arm. When I received an invoice for $250 out of pocket I informed them of this issue. Instead of contacting me or trying to rectify their mistake in anyway they sent me to a collection agency. I should not have to pay them for their incompetence. I was in a lot of pain from Pancreatitis and then didn't know if I was going to be able to receive the treatment I had been sent to ************** to receive. It was entirely stressful and worrisome. None of which I was responsible for. They are negligent.Business response
