    My name is *********************** I live in ********** ******* . We bought a used engine for 2017 discovery supercharged Land Rover from top of the line motors and transmissions with three years or ****** miles warranty engine was delivered on June 5th to the location we sent . Certified mechanic install the engine who only works on european vehicles.he was not comfortable with the motor he said it doesnt look good . I paid $6200 for labor to install the motor and bought the engine for $9500 they send me the bad engine to start with . Car ran for three days and then it stop working. I called them and talk to their customer service department gentleman name is ****. He start giving us all kind of excuses and demand us to send the bad engine first . At this point I dont trust them and Im worried that if I send that engine which if I decide to do I have to pay the mechanic another $5,000 and then ship it to them and then I have to sit and wait till they decide what they want to do . When we bought that engine from them they didnt say anything about sending the bad engine first they said if the motor is bad we will send you the other one.I dont have a problem sending them back that engine but they have to ship me the good motor first and then we can ship the bad one back to them.I dont have any use for it anyways.please help me my car is been sitting in the mechanics shop for the past month . I have no car to drive .Ive been sharing the car with my daughter for work .they can either exchange the motor or send me my refund back.thank you

    company is a fraud , they sold me a complete remanufactured drop in engine and shipped me a remanufactured block and some misc parts . they then told me they would pay for the labor to finish the build on my engine ,several moths later I have not received any compensation for the labor or any of the parts that had to be purchased to complete the engine. Then the turbo they supplied failed and now the the injectors they supplied are failing , the turbo was replaced under an insurance claim and and though their warranty claims they cover parts and labor no compensation for labor was was ever received . For those of you who have givin positive reviews on this co, you probably had no warranty issues ,from my point of view their warranty is a fraud , i have spent several thousand dollar more to finish my engine because I believed and thought I was dealing with an honest broker .(do not give this company your money)

    Donald's case is quite unique, to say the least. 
    Similar to other companies in the business of selling remanufactured motors, we do not provide guarantees for turbos, electronic parts such as glow plugs, or sensors, as well as injectors. 
    It is crucial to understand that in order to activate any warranty, registration is required. Our warranty follows the same principle. Both registration and installation need to be completed within 10 days of delivery. This is of utmost importance to ensure the motor remains free from debris or any potential damage that can occur by leaving it on a pallet, in or out of the shop. 

    This is key.  
    As Donald got his motor on 9/23/22 and did not have it put in till the week of 11/28/22 two months later.

    The importance of timely registration and installation becomes evident in Donald's case, particularly regarding the issue with his turbo. 
    He claimed to have bearing failure.  So we paid over $600 to have the turbo sent in and back for warranty coverage to Garrett, the manufacturer. 
    Upon inspection, Garrett found that the warranty could not be honored due to the presence of foreign material in the oil that passed through the bearings. The presence of debris caused marks on the bearings, indicating that the engine was started with contaminants. Garrett attributed this to negligence of the mechanics responsible for the motor installation and initial start-up.
    It is our belief that this situation arose because Donald waited for two months before installing the motor, leaving it sitting on a pallet in the shop. Luckily when we shipped it back we got shipping insurance as UPS dropped the box on the way back and racked the casein so we were able to get the full amount to replace the turbo. 
    The invalidation of Donald's warranty is largely attributed to the factors mentioned. If Donald had installed the motor within the specified timeframe and registered the warranty, any arising issues would have been promptly addressed without complications. It is worth noting that our warranty is supported by reputable companies such as UPS Capital and AIG, who typically stand behind such claims.
