      5 stars

In my experience, I must start by mentioning the professionalism performed by Paulo and Miguel. All his team members working in this company amaze me. Since the beginning of the project, they had planned out the sequence of the work and made sure that everything was right on point. Ordering the material for the remodeling of our Bathroom was extremely easy and less costly with their help. They would show up every single day on time at the previously coordinated time and in clean uniforms ready to get some progress on our project. Amazing the work, they did with the tiles. All his workers are very professional and would help you and listen to you with any change and/or idea that you may have during the remodeling process. Very easy company to work with. My wife Jess and I would highly recommend the use of Grout & About Flooring and Bathroom for any remodeling around your house. Thanks, Paulo and Miguel, and your team for an amazing experience here at home.

Paulo and Miguel gave us the bathroom of our dreams! The right combination of skill, craftsmanship, professionalism, and just good people! It truly was refreshing to see someone who is passionate about their craft. Priced right, they work fast, and they know what they are doing, couldn't ask for a better company! They listened to my design ideas, but also gave great recommendations, they were so awesome to work with.

Tub to shower conversion as well as installing shower tiles and bathroom floor tiles. Within 2 weeks of using shower, drain was leaking into kitchen ceiling. Not a plumber, but doing plumbing work.

Spent 4 hours with my child on a store trying to find tile that she likes.
We gave her a beautiful big niche with LED.
      We gave her a bench
      We installed grab bars
      All this for free!
We told her we are not plumbers she gave us 5 stars review on thumbtack. Took one thing to become a bad guy.
I was going back to fix but she kept calling me with something she read online or her neighbor told her to do.
She doesn't want to fix the problem she wants more problem!
Texted her back saying to call the insurance company and claim her money back!
The hole project she was "crying" about price I tried to help her but still not enough!

The bottom line is that he got paid the money for his services as soon as he asked for it. I never asked for LEDs those were his ideas and I paid for them as well as the grab bars. Although he is not a plumber as he says, he still continues to provide those services when he installs the shower system. I do not trust him to fix the plumbing problem he created because he is not experienced in plumbing. I hired a plumber that cost me $581.00 and a drywall person to repair the ceiling $405.00. I sent him both invoices as he requested because he said he would pay for the repair. The plumber found it was a failure on his part for a bad drain connection that caused the leak in my ceiling. He didn't do a flood test in the shower either which the plumber right away conducted. My handheld shower fixture was also leaking and I sent him a picture of it as well. No response. I sent the info and video to the Sunrise company and they sent me an email explaining why it was leaking. He put Teflon tape around the treaded part, that was the problem. Once I removed it, it no longer leaked. The company said Teflon tape was unnecessary since it has a washer. I cannot trust him with any of the plumbing, that he feels he can do. Furthermore, I am a senior citizen retired school teacher on a limited income. I have asked him many times to give me a receipt and he has yet to comply and ignores it.
Paulo needs to do the right thing, which is to reimburse me for the repairs. As far as the review from Thumbtack he wanted me to give him a good review so he can get more customers, however that was weeks before he created a leak in my ceiling because of his negligence. Of course the tile looks great, but I was more interested in the foundation of the shower, not so much the design as he was. What good is a pretty tiled shower if it leaks and creates another problem where there was none to begin with. I was excited about this project and it turned into a nightmare. Those are the facts and basis of my complaint. I paid him what he wanted for the project even without him supplying me with a proper written estimate which I requested in text as well as verbally to no avail. I trusted him. He even texted me that if he had to come and check the ceiling and it wasn't his fault, he would charge me $200.00. Who else's fault would it be? Who does that? He lacks integrity, professionalism as well as respect for customers by insulting them. How can I possibly allow him into my home to repair what he did after his behavior? All in all he needs to step up and do the right thing.

Addendum: Mr. A***** likes to mock customers. I am a retired school teacher with a limited income, as such I am concerned about cost. He interprets this as "crying" very unprofessional and rude. I was appreciative of his time, and tile work he did, however, that does not excuse him from negligence on his part for the damage to my ceiling.

[Again, his inexperience as a plumber to know that a tub to shower conversion on a second story home requires him to check the "P-trap drain to make sure it is up to code from 1.5 to 2 inch, which is what the plumber confirmed upon his inspection and repair.
He didn't do that as he stated to his insurance company that, "he never went into the subfloor" ( exactly, because of his incompetence) therefore releasing him from any responsibility according to his insurance company and my not being reimbursed.]

Of course at this point I was very upset and cried about what he did to my ceiling, to me it was catastrophic, but not to him, his exact comment was, "its not the end of the world", not for him, it wasn't his house. In all the 16 years I've lived here, I'm the original owner, never any water damage in my house, until he worked on it. He's the only one responsible, no doubt about it! My biggest mistake was trusting him( He was very good at convincing me he could get the job done) and my lack of knowledge at the time until I went through this process. He may be good at tile labor and shower conversions on a ground floor, because if it leaks it will go right into the ground, but not tub to shower conversions on a second floor and more expertise, which he apparently lacks, this is my main point.

Any contractor would be happy to resolve the issue and be responsible, . When I say he is not "professional", he didn't like that I questioned him when I read up on what they were doing. Insulting and mocking me "crying", "cheap", very immature behavior.

As soon as this happened to me I checked the BBB, and there were already several complaints against him and I understood exactly why they initiated their complaints. He was late many times, when he said he was coming he didn't show, only his partner, Miguel would show up. No big deal to him, that is "unprofessional" behavior. I always had to call to find out when they were coming, poor communication. Again, I gave him a 5 star rating because before he left upon completing the tiling job, he requested and text me to remind me to give him a good review so he could get more customers on Thumbtack. Thumbtack further tried to help resolve this issue by suggesting Fair Claims online. I complied but he never did, because according to him his insurance company absolved him of any responsibility for the water damage.
**He is at fault, be professional and accept responsibility for your actions.
Facts:16 years in this house, original owner, no water damage.
Convert tub to shower, water damage to my ceiling
Performing plumber jobs without a plumber's license-failure to inspect subfloor for P-trap drain configuration
Unprofessional-insulting, mocking customer, irresponsible behavior-late, no show
      Several prior BBB complaints

As per videos and research I did online about shower conversions, contractors agreed that a shower does not drain the same as a tub, therefore the P-trap has to be reconfigured to 2 inches to prevent flooding to the subfloor and therefore the ceiling below it.
